Just fyi. The random paint sequence I used ( candy, backer, white, red, black) is not required, I was just experimenting but depending on what color you put over the chrome backer it will affect the tone of the paint when finished, for example if I was to do this again I would cover the chrome backer with red to give the final product more of a reddish orange.

CraigsRC cRC I also painted up a new body for my Outcast too bro. I'll have a share video on it pretty soon. I went with the C10 long bed body. I'm trying to give my Outcast true Monster truck look without the wing. Turned out great. I definitely got some ideas from ya Chevy guy 👍.

Hi there, sick paint job. When you say, mirror chrome backer; you are referring to the Ultimate Mirror Chrome as a backer (10009) or the Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (10209)?? Thanks

Awesome colour. I did mine in metallic red backed in silver and it looks almost a pink. Yours looks so much better like a sunburnt orange

Depends on how dark you want the color to be but i would get at least 2 color and you will also need the chrome backer

So is it necessary to use the chrome, red, white and black for coats over the candy orange? I'm going to do my Raptor body in that orange. And hydro dip my Chevy body in snow camo.

No it's not necessary I was just messing around, do the candy then chrome backer then a final backer

Thanks bro, they sell window tint in a spray can! You just spray it on lightly and it tints them, you can see it in my other paint vids check it out! Thanks for commenting and watching!
