Look back #otd at one of the great fights in boxing when #miguelcotto fought #shanemosley in front of a sold out Madison Square Garden.
Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Boxing’s most avoided world champion finally has a dance partner.
WBO middleweight world champion Janibek “Qazaq Style” Alimkhanuly, a southpaw power puncher from Kazakhstan, will make the first defense of his title against two-time British champion Denzel Bentley on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
In the co-feature, undefeated pound-for-pound queen Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada will defend her WBA minimumweight world title against Jazmin Gala Villarino.
Janibek-Bentley, Estrada-Villarino, and undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+.
Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, tickets starting at $25 go on sale Friday, Oct 7 at 12 p.m. PT and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

You wouldn't know it by listening to these two jackals calling the fight. "And a hard right overhand shot by Mosely that...hurts Mosely! Man, Cotto's awesome the way he can attack Mosely's fists with the side of his head! Cotto young strong bull! Mosely's mouth is open! His lungs are on fire! @@nassiglutt6587yup at welterweight Floyd Mayweather did not fight guys unless he's seen a chink in armer... People don't realize he wasn't trying to fight guys at there best cotto, Mosley ,Manny Pacquiao, Oscar de la Hoya but Oscar was bigger so I'll give him the benefit of a doubt there.. he fought Canelo when he was young drained him made him get down at 152... And then there's guys like Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez that were fighting at 147 to 154 at the time ..he flat out didn't fight them.. so yeah that's why people that watched him give Mayweather his respect but won't say he's the best of all time and put a Astrid next to his name

Nobody is saying this fight was not close, i dont think. Any fight with Shane Mosley is trouble. He was the real deal. His two wins against De la Hoya were close too. The only time i saw Shane give up was in the fight with Pacquiao. He suffered a knockdown (first time ever?) in rd 2 or something. Look for interview clips of Shane sitting next to DLH talking about Manny's legacy.

For you guys saying Shane was juicing... Shane never tested positive in his career. He admitted that the took EPO one time for the De La Hoya rematch but that it was not intentional (which is BS). But his fights were tested rigorously after that and he didn't juice. He beat Vargas, Collazo, Margarito and almost Cotto after that.

@@gjones7059 Pacquiao never used drugs, you're slandering a good man's name with zero evidence. You want to see what the truth looks like? Watch this video, it will take you 1:10 to see the truth with your own eyes. Just google this; 'Did Floyd Mayweather get caught using PED's'? This isn't an opinion, watch the video and see Floyd snorting dope from 2 separate bottles in his dressing room just before a fight. I've seen 2 such videos in which Floyd does the exact same thing, snorts dope before going to the ring to fight. That means he must have snorted dope before every fight. Absolute proof you can see with your own eyes, not talking shit and slandering a man because Floyd's lying ass was afraid to fight Pacquiao. Do you have one minute spare time to see the truth, or will you continue smearing Paquiao's name based upon the coward Floyd's bullshit lies? I'll bet you're scared yourself, afraid to see your boy snorting dope before a fight. Go ahead and take a look, stop being Floyd's mouthpiece and ruining your name in the process.
