it's going to squeak and squeak a lot. tightening the deck mounting screws is a pain in the ass BUT it does help. wish Nordic track made that process easier

What about X32i. It squeaks like an old spring mattress. I tightened the walking deck, but still making noise every step. Should I replace springs and cushions?

It could be a few things. usually its not the springs and cushions. I would check the pivot hardware as well as where the hardware mounts for the incline motor. Both places can also cause squeaking noises.

Is there a way to adjust the cushioning?

No, the current models NTL14122 and NTL17122 like shown in this video do not have adjustable cushioning.

this is not a good video. very unclear. i thought i was supposed to loosen the back 2 bolts to access the drive belt. you show the gentleman loosening those bolts then show a picture of the exposed drive belt motor. thus one would think that by doing A, you will see B. you then show a clip of the side plastic parts being snapped off while talking about adjusting your belt “please see this other video”. instead i fully loosened the two bolts used to align the belt. now that they are disengaged, it is nearly impossible to re-seat them

I apologize for any confusion. the intent was that as you make adjustments to the belt adjustment bolts (A) it will affect the belt tension of the drive belt by pulling on the drive roller as shown in (B). No specific instructions about belt adjustments are addressed in this video.

Brand new product was very noisy showing that no quality checks were done before selling this scam
