At 0:45, the ground screw doesn't fit in the hole on the right upright - it sticks out half way. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I continued with assembly - the ground screw isn't flush with the upright. At 3:40, the outer grips (left & right) don't fit onto the handrail assembly - even after lining up the tabs & holes. A space remains between the outer grips/handrail assembly & I am not able to attach the screw to the outer grips. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I am stuck at this step.

The ground screw is often difficult to install because the hole punched into the upright is not tapped and in my experience is a bit on the tight side to ensure good contact. although it goes against my advise elsewhere i may run the ground screw in with a power drill. You are unlikely to damage anything in this step by doing that. If your plastic grip parts are deformed or damaged so they do not fit, I would contact the manufacture for a replacement.

She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. How do you get the clips disconnected on the monitor? I can't figure this out and need to move the treadmill. It doesn't fit through the door jam to move to another room.

Press on the top of the catch on one side of the connection. The wire connectors will then separate.

It is mounted onto the handrail assembly, specifically the Console Base. It is a large metal substructure inside the handlebar assembly.

what's the best way to disassemble when moving from room to room? I am moving out of a room but it does not fit through the door frame, even with the door removed

reverse the assembly instructions in the users manual. you should then be able to move the base and frame with the treadmill belt through the door on its side. You will then have ood instructions on how to put it back together.

I'm struggling to get the clips apart for my 1750. I've squeezed the sides, but they do not come apart and I don't want to break the clip (the black piece on one side already broke off). @@FitnessEquipmentHelp @4:47 these clips (cream color ones with the dots)

@@denisea6956 There is a small latch that has to be depressed it is in the center of one of the long sides. When the top of the latch is pressed it lifts up off of the catch on the other side. The two parts of the connection can then be pulled apart.

2+2+4+1 x2 is 18 screws but they only ship 14 screws + the 2 non-pointed screws for a total of 16 (from the hardware package) and instructions. What am I missing here? (other than screws)

The left and right upright inner covers may have already been assembled. They are shown as part of the assembly in this video but are pre installed in the user's manual assembly directions.

How do I get the screen to tilt up and down. Screen rotates but I cant get it to tilt up and down?

The tilt is on a pressure fit axle. They are shipped very tight. They will loosen with time and use but may be very stiff out of the box. Support the top and bottom of the display as you push the display back and forth. It will loosen up with use hopefully not too much ;)

How easily is the 2450 to disassemble? I’m purchasing one for the house I’m in currently, but plan on moving in a year or two.

Its not too bad. If you can move large pieces and are not intimidated by wiring under the hood then you can disconnect the upright wire from the lower board and and out of the belly pan. Then you can move the uprights and console as one assembly and the base and deck as a second part. You can also just reverse the assembly instructions. There is always the possibility of damaging the plastic covers and the plastic grommets that hold the wire harness in place can be difficult to extricate from the uprights. (they're not easy to remove from the outside and there is no access on the inside of the upright). Damaged parts are usually easily replaceable.

There should be a blister packed card with the assembly hardware attached. If it was not included with your new machine reach out to the manufacturer to obtain a replacement hardware kit.

At exactly 4:15 / 4:22 during the cable connection, does anyone know what connector ends those are? My unit didn't ship with the connector end to the black/blue wire from the monitor and having difficulties with support at the moment.

I believe the Black/Blue wires in the 3 pin connector are to the safety key switch.

@@claudiablumen I did! The connecter for the black/blue cable from the Monitor/Console was attached to the corresponding connector on the treadmill. So popped it off and connected to the monitor/console wires. Now the kill switch is hooked up and works.

I just finished assembling except for the lubrication. The instructions say to lift the belt up but it is tucked under the side cover. How can I lift the belt to apply the lubrication?

You should not need to lubricate a new belt, but when you do need lubrication I have found it easiest on models with belts that ride under the deck rail; to pinch the belt together with the palm of your hand, to get at the edge. @@FitnessEquipmentHelp Thanks a ton for your reply. The instructions are listed on a separate sheet of paper and are title "An Important Assembly Update" It included a tube of lubrication. The part number printed at the bottom of the sheet is: "Part no. 448942 R0822A". I wouldn't expect a new belt would need to be lubricated but the sheet makes me leery.

@@paulbombach No worries. If the unit has an assembly update then please apply the lube. the belt may also need to be re-lubricated from time to time as needed. Sometimes as often as once per year. Sometimes these thicker belts need a little more lubrication than the thinner belts.

The strain relief grommet will need to be pried out of the upright to get to this connection. It is not well designed to be removed unfortunately. Often times the grommet will break and need to be replaced. I usually use a slotted screwdriver when I need to Pry out the grommet.

How can I make the monitor rotate so the bottom plate is opposite as shown on 4:31. I have tried to manually rotate and it’s impossible

They are usually very stiff (but not impossible) to turn. I have positioned the plate on the console base and used the plastic lip to push against while turning the console so I could get the first two bolts in place.

Assembled ours, but fan doesn't work . Everything else is working. What can be a problem?

there are a lot of wires near the fan. I have had wires interfere with the fan rotation before. I would take the fan cover off and check for wire interference as well as any damaged loose pinched or disconnected wires. please be aware there is 1 empty wire connection on these wires (at least there was on the one we made this video with.)

The wires that are connected with the blue shrouded spade connectors should pull apart. There are no clips. They can be very tight however.

Yes I actually snapped it by prying hard. Any ideas now on how to repair. Doesn’t seem to be able to reattach. It was so tight and seemed impossible to pull apart.

The console swivel is intentionally stiff. To pivot the console for assembly I have had to set it in place then use the plastic around the mount to hold the base while I pivoted the console. once the bolts are in place this becomes a little easier and will likely loosen up with time.

We are unable to rotate the screen side to side. It is stuck and will not budge. The base will not move or rotate the monitor. No visible nuts, screw, or bolts. Only base with monitor wires showing.

What do we need to do? Was on hold for 40 minute’s yesterday with Nordic track and nothing resolved. On the phone for an hour and still no live representative. Probably going to return.

@@Alice_n_Cooper It is just a pressure fit. Apply more effort and it will turn. They make them particularly tight at the factory because they will loosen up over time. They included a custom wrench with the treadmill to tighten the pivot nut when this occurs. You may be able to loosen the pivot nut but I would just move it back and forth a few times. The nut is under the plastic cover that is directly below the monitor. It comes off by removing 2 Philips head screws. The nut will be tight.

what if the console won't rotate

the console is pretty stiff on some of these. there is a nut that holds these together. the included wrench may be used to tighten or loosen the screw. Usually the nut is very tight and it is done intentionally to keep it from coming loose. If you cannot loosen the nut I have had success just apply a little more force you are not likely to break anything as log as you are not pushing directly on the display. It will loosen with use.

I would make sure all the wires for the console assembly are still connected. First make sure the safety key is engaged. If the wires are intact and connected securely, then you may need to replace the part with the buttons you are referring to.

If you have this model then there is no kind of lock or mechanism to prevent it from turning. It is just a pressure fit. It will turn if you apply enough force to rotate it. It will loosen up with use so they usually ship them quite tight.
