Actually at some point in time as you constantly workout like this on the treadmill you will eventually need a higher intensity > jog mode! If you don't this will eventually get boring. Treadmill Interval Training & Crossfit workouts are the literally the best for people who simply want to look good naked! I've been doing this every winter or rainy day for 5 yrs now I'm up to 1min20sec high intensity & a 30sec jog. My intensity speed is 12speed & jog speed is 6speed for about a solid 30mins

Guys, can anyone tell me whether they've tried this and if it had any effect on them and if they've noticed any weight loss? I'm looking to lose about 15-20 pounds in the next few months.
@Ariebingo9 жыл бұрын
+YoZync Hi! I've not started HIIT training on a treadmill yet, but for the past month I've done circuits using the same HIIT principle. My scale hasn't changed but my body has. I feel stronger, I can push further and family and friends have noticed a slim down. I've also noticed more definition in the mirror. I'm no personal trainer but I think in a few months, 20 mins HIIT 4-5x a week with a nutritious diet will give you your results. If you want to see results it is literally all about what you eat, more than how much you exercise. In one week I ate irregular with loads of free pizza, and my body lost all the definition I earned 2-weeks training 5x a week. Eat a healthy and balanced Macronutrient diet (Carbs Fats and Protein) along with 20 mins HIIT 4x a week and I'm sure you'll get the results you want! Good Luck!

@xHaBiTaTx360 2 hours is alot so you will burn alot of calories which is not good cuz you should burn calories but not too much cuz if you burn alot it will kill your metabolism and you will not lose weight or you will lose it and gain it back really quick even if you kept working out ..I think that about 20-30 mins of interval training is enough :)

You don't SPRINT on the treadmill, you SPRINT on the track. 1 or 2 minute intervals are not sprints, they are closer to your VO2MAX speed than you sprint speed.

if your sprinting for one minute at 100 percent with only a 30 second break 10 times your bullshitting and def not running at 100 percent anaerobic exercises like sprinting wouldnt even allow you too run like that

Anyone that is on a treadmill with a magazine should leave it for somebody who's actually going to use the treadmill. If you can hold a magazine in your hands when on the treadmill you're not doing what you're suppose to do. The only thing you're doing is telling yourself lies about how much you workout and all that fat that you want gone will stay right where it is, between who you are and who you want to be

Utilizes different energy systems? What the fuck man
@FantaLiteBrav10 жыл бұрын
She means the body has different sources of energy that are accessed depending on how easy the body can process them - it will always go the most efficient route available. First it will use the Glucose in the blood, then the Glycogen stored in the muscles, then after this it will burn body fat for fuel. If all else fails it will then start to burn off muscle proteins, for instance during long periods of exercise like running a marathon. HIIT is good because the high intensity causes massive oxygen debt. The body repays this debt by burning body fats off for up to 24 hours afterwards as well as building more muscle. That's why sprinters are built and lean unlike long distance runners who are thin with little muscle. Hope that answers your question.
