In this comparison review, we take you through what to expect on the ProForm Pro 9000, and new NordicTrack 1750 and Sole F80 Treadmills. These are all popular models and are great representations of what each brand has to offer.
All three of them are similar in size, with the Sole F80 being the largest and the Pro 9000 being the most compact. All of them fold up to save space and have transportation wheels to move them around when needed.
They have similar size motors which are capable of handling heavy use like distance running. They each go up to 12 mph and the 1750 and Pro 9000 incline to 12% and decline to -3%. The F80 inclines to 15% but doesn’t decline.
All of these treadmills have 60” long decks that accommodate all running stride lengths, so users of all abilities and sizes should be able to use these treadmills for walking, jogging, and running. The Sole F80 has the largest deck at 22” wide and 60” long. The NordicTrack 1750 and Pro 9000 have 20” wide and 60” long decks so they’re both a little more compact to fit better in more homes. If you like a little more room width-wise, we recommend the F80, but most people probably won’t notice this size difference in the decks.
The Sole F80 has the firmest cushioning, while the NordicTrack 1750 has the softest, so if you have joint issues the 1750 is our recommendation.
As far as content options, they all have touch screens of different sizes. The ProForm Pro 9000 has a large 22” touch screen and streams iFit as does the 1750. iFit is a complete training platform that offers trainer-led classes. The Sole F80 has the smallest touch screen at 10” but offers onboard workouts and streaming from apps like Netflix without paying an additional subscription fee.
All in all, we love all of these treadmills and they’re all found on our best treadmills list. You can’t go wrong with any of these models.

The presenter did not mention about the iFit Subscription associated with the purchase of a treadmill, keeping the owner of the equipment as hostage of the manufacturer.

thanks for the videos. I think a decibel/sound meter would help for these noise comparisons :)

I prefer the f80 for noise. The nordic mitor is so loud it hurt my ears. I am sound sensitivie though. I think the sole is great 👍 i like ability to stream without having to subscribe. It looks very sturdy too.

The nordic is very quite not sure why you said its loud. My wife was on it in the room next to me and no clue she was using the treadmill until I walked in

Hello! Do you think that the iFit consuls will add other applications in the future where you could stream, Netflix, etc.?

Does the Proform pro 9000 allow the user to stream Netflix and KZbin? Or is that only a feature for the Sole F-80?

Hi! Your videos have been extremely helpful. Have you had an opportunity to review the ProForm Trainer 14.0 yet? We are considering this model as part of their ProForm Plus program but struggling to find content on their performance, deck noise, and screen function. Help!

We haven't gotten this treadmill in for testing yet. Knowing what we do about ProForm's other treadmills we've used, it should handle running and moderate use, well. It looks to be similar to the Carbon TLX and a previous model from them, the Carbon T10. We really like both of these treadmills for their quality and their price range. We also have reviews of them on our KZbin channel. I assume the Trainer 14.0 will be similar and it is definitely a great deal with the ProForm+ Program to use iFIT. I like 14" touch screens for streaming iFIT. You can see everything in iFIT clearly, yet it isn't as heavy as larger screens which can shake when running. Hope this helps and once we get it in, we'll do a review. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi After seeing your videos I am right now lost and confused I request your help in suggesting a treadmill for me 1. Higher motor Power 3.5 2. Sturdy and Compact And Solid Build- I am heavy guy 3. Good Track Length and width with cushion 4. I can compromise on infotainment 5. Good Cup and Phone/ iPad Holder 6. Good Durability and less maintenance issues I don’t need infotainment instead would like to spend on built quality stability and durability Looking for home purpose thread mill for everyday use - 2 persons - Running - 6-9 kph and descent incline Would really appreciate if you can help me with few options Thanks

Do you know what the rpm’s for each of the motors are? I always heard that horsepower alone isn’t a good comparison unless you also know the associated rpm of each motor?

Another youtube video showed that the F80 increased speed as it inclined. Ie. If you are walking 2mph and then increase the incline the speed will increase. Something for those who are considering the F80 to check. Also, the fans blow air upwards and not towards the person.

Does if it require a subscription to use apps? Does it do screen mirroring?
@TreadmillReviewGuru
@TreadmillReviewGuru 6 ай бұрын
The Sole allows screen mirroring, both the NordicTrack and the ProForm require a subscription to use the full breadth of content but they don't require a subscription to use manual mode on the treadmill.

The Sole F80 sounds the quietest. It's probably more solidly built.

The answer of which one you should buy is easy. Its NONE of them. Don’t buy a consumer line machines that is made to literally break after a couple years, regardless if you use it or not. How is this you ask??? Well that fancy smart tablet that’s built into the console is connected to the internet. This allows you to get lost and infatuated with the entertainment, so you get sidetracked from your workouts. But what they don’t tell you is that the manufacturer has 100% full control over your machine as long as it’s connected to wifi and able to receive updates. Imagine an honest manufacturer that funnels tens of billions of dollars into advertising every year, while their focus is on their product reviews that periodically change. Yet the company rating is barely holding on to a 1 ⭐️…. Is that one you feel you can trust?? Ps, None of these company’s names are listed. These are all just brand names.
