I'm thinking I love Turkey. But I had a thought, I could view these settings through pictures or perhaps other videos, and they would be lovely, yes. But for me, what makes this travel so so extraordinarily beautiful and 'whole' if you will, is your obvious love and admiration for each other. And for others. That shines through in every video. Your love of everything and others just begets more love. ;) xoxo

I almost thought they changed the name of that place to Uchahir (at 12:50 ) then I've realized that is Uchisar castle. 😊😊 The view of the castle from the left side hundred meters from the castle at ground level is just so marvelous. PS. I was laughing hard when Marian corrected the 2000 BC to just some BC at the end. 😁😁

And keep in mind that the castle has been so eroded by the elements over time, what you see is the back walls of the rooms... imagine how much bigger it must have been in its full glory. A few kilometers downstream from Avanos there is a small plateau next to the River. On the top is the burial tumulus of what must have been a very important person possibly dating back to the Hitities. The mound is 20 meters or so high and may have been larger but has been dug into by people looking for the burial.
