Exactly our feeling when we had to leave after a trip to Turkey that started the Friday following 911. We were a little awed at everything happening around us as we went through London to Istanbul. After a month we felt like never leaving… and I have wanted to return ever since. Turkish people are the best!

How fitting Ersel saw you two off at the airport! A heart-filling way to bookend your time in Turkey. And, yes, to marvel at all the beautiful people, places, and things that would have been missed with the "original plan." And then to think of the people that have met each other through you that wouldn't have! Ben & Chesca wouldn't have found Scout, Seher would have probably exhausted herself and been forced to give up, and so many people (myself included) would never know just how much they wanted to visit Turkey! Amazing!!! And to be reunited with family and friends after two years. I can't even imagine. 🤗🤗🤗 I think Trudy received more than Tender Loving Care at the trusty garage, it was more like the automotive equivalent of Deep Tissue Massage! "That's just a thing." 🤣😆🤣😆 Glad you have mechanics you know and trust so well. The garage Mimi & I go to have serviced our cars for over 20 years! ❤❤😎👍xx

I too was sad to see you leave Turkey, but not half as much as the gratefulness that it was Turkey you got stuck in for 2 years.
