I love this country since 39 years and did so many boat Trips from KAS, to DEMRE/MYRA to see ♥️KEKOVA♥️ This is a place of breathtaking beauty!!! In the middle of the 80s we were even able to snorkel above the Ruins in the water! By the way: My "home village" in Turkey is ❤️DALYAN❤️😉 since 1986.

Never heard of Kekova before this -- absolutely incredible!!! What an amazing intersection of history, nature, archeology, and geology! 🤯🤯🤯 This will definitely send me down a Wikipedia rabbit hole for sure! And the villages there are so beautiful! The colors of the flowers and the fruits on the trees are spellbinding. What a magical place. ❤❤😎👍xx

When my campervan is ready Turkey is where I'm headed !! Another great video guys , you had a great day. I think the boat prices was very reasonable considering you had it to yourselves and they cost a fortune to upkeep ! The people are so warm and inviting , kind , welcoming and love their beautiful country.

If you are going during the summer months, I highly suggest cruising around Kekova islands, you won't be disappointed. Swimming in a beautiful turquoise water next to the ancient ruins that are dated back to 1000s years is a once in a life time experience ( might be the only place on earth) Also have some homemade ice cream in Kalekoy ( castle village ) super tasty!

It is such a pity many Germans use to stay in the concrete deserts of Antalya, Alanya and Side. Turkey has so much more to offer - if you are not "afraid" to leave your All-Inclusive Resort and try to explore what is in the region around you. I suggest: Fly to DALAMAN and go to the small town of DALYAN - surrounded by unspoilt nature, offering a golden beach where the sea turtle "Caretta Caretta" leaves eggs for millions of years. Btw I am German, too. Discovered this green paradise by friendly waiters from the place serving my partner and me in Marmaris in 1982. We went to their homes by Avis-car one day - and never booked Marmaris again ;-)

Dut - Mulberries - probably associated with silk production at some time in the past
@Nickle3143 жыл бұрын
@Hüseyin Erkaya I can remember when I was a child, keeping silkworms. One of my father's friends showed me how to get the silk off the cocoon. You put the cocoon in your mouth and let your saliva soften the glue holding the fibres together. I suspect that was the original way before they used hot water.

FYI the 650tl boat hire is a private charter. In season if you jump on the daily tour boats 11am-5pm it's more like 170tl pp including lunch but not drinks. So that would be like 34 quid for a couple all day boat trip, swim, eat lunch and have a great time.

When I was on a cruise ship and explained to some new American friends why they should go to Turkey somebody who was amused about my enthusiasm smiled at me and asked: "Do you get money for this?" And I shook my head - also smiling - and said: "No - this is all coming from a very grateful heart. I travel around the Mediterranean Sea for decades and never met so welcoming and warmhearted people like at the Turkish coast." So believe me: It is worth going there! If you come there with open minds like this amazing couple you will find open arms. P.S. My nickname is Turkish - but I am an old German lady (60+) who fell in love with this country in 1982 when tourists were still "exotic" ;-)
