What an amazing experience! Chef Hüseyin is a very welcoming soul, and he's built himself a beautiful kitchen space. So rustic, tactile, comfy & homely. Mrs. P. and I both gasped out loud as you came to the top of the stairs and out to the view!! 😱😱😱 Wooow! Roasting the aubergines whole is a brilliant idea! 🤯🤯 Can't wait to try that. I've always sliced onions rather than chopped as I don't trust my own knife skills, good to know I'm sparing myself some tears at the same time! We had a very bad mattress in our van and had an orthopedic mattress made for us in Turkey (city of Bursa). The mattress was a dream. Now we have a new mobile home and hope to be able to come to turkey quickly to become new Matress.The matress was made in one day... Do it buy your new Matress in Turkey you’ll love it.

Definitely going to take a cooking lesson from him when I travel to Turkey end of 2022. I love the space of the cooking school. Eggplant is one of my favorites. Don’t like beets and I know it is considered a super food for its nutritional value so would love to learn how to make that drink from it. Your newsletter was very informative today and we got to learn a bit about Chris’s brother that was interesting. I suggest that everyone signs up for your newsletter for those extra details. Very curious how much your crown cost. Here in California they run 1600. It gets us to floss morning and night because who wants to pay that but unfortunately I’ve had to have a few in my life. Great video!

Stretch your hamstrings every day, it maybe causing your back problem. I got told this years ago and it completely worked for me. Hamstrings decrease in length if not stretched and pull on your lower back causing pressure and pain.

A great mattress is worth its weight in gold . Back pain is definatly increased if the mattress isnt supportive . Id imagine ul get a new mattress made for trudy made for you locally or through ersel without too much hassle . A friend of mine got his whole truck cab interior re done in a place in istanbul a few years ago . They retrimmed everything in lovely leather with a button style on the walls of the cab he got his curtains all done new mattress . Seats remodelled with extra foam etc to make them even comfier and with a more sculpted shape to them . Ive bn trying to call him as soon as i saw ur vid . And u were looking to have a new mattress made . Ive not got a hold of him as of yet . But if i dont get him . Im sure ersel will know of somewhere to get it done . What about ur friends at su marine they fit out ships they did ur seats etc im sure theyd manage to get a mattress made . Id try them as well as ersel . There are so many places doin upolstry ul find someone easily im sure if uv not allready sorted it out . But yea a gd mattress is very important . Gd pillows too ive found helps greatly . Hope ur both great and chris isnt too sore pls take care pls stray safe xx .... ian ....

There are so many stray animals in Turkey, I wish our foreign friends visiting our country would adopt stray animals and give them a home. As a Turk, I adopted 3 stray cats from outside, please be sensitive about this 🙏❤️

There are many people who have fed / taken in community dogs and cats and we have seen lots of good work done by expats too, organising groups to support neutering programs and street feeding crews but it is a long term issue - but I have never seen any cruelty here and everyone is trying their best.

I would be very pleased to do so but ,unfortunately, my wife and I are both 86 years old and a couple of years ago, following a lifetime of travelling and living in many different countries, we concluded that now is the time to enjoy our home here in the Czech Republic where we have lived to the past fourteen years. Despite not having visited Turkey I was aware of how beautiful the country is, and as you say the people are very kind and helpful with the result that you are and will have a wonderful time travelling around the country. Hi Kerry - he was not starving or we would have kept him and taken him to a shelter ... just skinny - he hangs around by the restaurant and although they feed him - he would be much fatter when the tourists are around to drop scraps - but we always like to give an extra free meal when we can. PS we have just met a dog called fat molly ... there are lots of scraps where she is !! please DM if you want the details of a shelter that collect donations for street animals in Turkey - but we have never witnessed any cruelty or starvation of animals here at all - Marianne xx
