I'm so conflicted on this song. The lisp annoy me so much, and I genrally thing John owns this song more, but in some lines the Danish version is so goddamn strong and I can't handle it."Lad mig mærke jeg er på vej" for example hit me much harder then the English version of this line (Let me touch things I don't feel), because it's so true. You just fight and fight to be who you are and it still just feels like you're stuck.Sometimes I too really could use the feeling of actually being on the way to something."Jeg er drengen ingen ser" resonates with something deep within me too. It just nails the whole feel of the song (and the movie actually) and ARGH I just love this lyrics so much.So yes. Until I find peace within myself to actually choose what version of this I like the best I guess I'll just awkwardly play the same song two times in a row each time I feel like hearing it.

I think the danish actors do a better job than the english, especially John Silver, but the danish version of this song ssssuuuuuucks. Well, not the lyrics, just the choice of singer.
