I just searched $100 of pennies. I must have found a collection dump because I found 55 wheat pennies, (one roll had 5 in it!) including a 1909 VDB! By far my best find yet! I also found 2 proofs, and a handful of Canadian cents, and a Panama cent.

Just found your channel. I'm from England and I collect British pennies (1860-1967.) Most were minted at the Tower Hill mint in London, and some were minted in Birmingham at the Heaton and Kings Norton Mints. These are much rarer and more valuable. The only one I don't have is the legendary 1933 penny. Only 7 examples exist 😁

Also wanting to find some MS67 or better to keep in my collection. I don't think any varieties have been discovered yet for the 2020 P Cent that I'm aware of.

I recently found your channel and started watching these videos. My wife inherited a large number of coins from her grandmother about 15 years ago when her grandmother passed. I retired last summer and finally got around to looking through them. There are thousands of wheat pennies in the boxes we had sitting in our garage. I've learned they are worth more than a penny each, but don't know what to do with them. They range in age from 1909 to 1958, (no VDB 1909 pennies found yet). Where would I sell these? I'm new to this so don't know where to go from here.

I would suggest you add a white piece of paper between each folder page, makes it easier to see the page you're looking....especially when you have empty spots in the page....great finds, I haven't ever ran across the things you have in this find.

This video is good timing for me! I am almost done with box #39 of 40 with my penny hunt! Alot of similar numbers from what you found vs what I found! You did better on the older Lincoln Cents I did better on the other coins! My Oldest Lincoln Cent was a 1914, but I did find 3 older coins with the oldest being a 1859 2 Pfennige and two Indian Head Cents!! Also I did real well on my Canada Cents. Lots of King George cents and the 1st year of Queen Elizabeth Penny is 1953 & I found one of those! Overall I'd say we probably tied, unless this last box has something really crazy in it!! I got an error coin in my change the other day. Nothing major, but the penny is missing part of the copper plating, so much of the obverse has zinc "tiger stripes". The coin has no scratches and appears uncirculated, so I think the copper was stripped before the penny was struck

I've went thru more penny boxes than I can remember but out of all the crazy finds I'm still confused by a 1976 penny that sounds like a Canadian when dropped and only weighs 2.6 grams and has none of penny damaged. I did a tad of research and saw we used to print money for other cou tries so I'm guessing they messed up and printed USA currency on the wrong plate or something.

The Canadian 2009 comes in either magnetic steel or non-magnetic zinc core. Canada now only uses a steel core.

The sellers evidently make unsearched penny rolls there so it's exciting to see what else I may find. I now have over 3 thousand wheat pennies and over 225 Indian cents as well as all 3 mint steel cents. My last purchase for awhile was a 1043 Canadian penny bulk bag and has over 40 pennies with shine to them including a shiny bird cent. I'm curious hoe well I did on that purchase. So far two 1929 Canadian is the oldest pulls and plenty of King George.

Hi christen I found a 1924 Canadian penny also found a penny and it's toning the back is on the front it looks like a a 2nd pennie underneath the bottom front it looks like a1979 it shows 197 and under where it looks like the outline of a 9 so that's where I'm getting 1979...any idea of the penny that's messed up???
