In the video you said 1/2 cup butter. It seems to me the 2 sticks of butter would be 1cup. 1/2 cup butter to 4 cups butter wouldn't come out right. Maybe I'm wrong?

Thanks for sharing! Just a question, you show two sticks of butter which is actually a cup, but the video says 1/2 cup. Is it supposed to be 1 cup? Thanks again

+Amy Trimble YES! You are the first person to catch this. You should get a prize or something! Haha. My recipe is written as 1/2 POUND of butter but most people use cups in recipes so I transcribe it to cups and I ALWAYS make this mistake for some reason. It should be 1 CUP or 1/2 POUND of butter. I will correct this as soon as I can. Think of all the poorly made cookies out there now! Thank you!!

i was looking at your recipe for the cookies and on there doesnt say anything about baking powder but in ur video you say baking powder can you please clear this up thanks

tcipa100 I quit using the baking powder because I find that the cookies don't actually need it. At this point I would say that it is optional. If you use it, you might find your cookies will turn out slightly "puffy" after baking. They won't spread, but they will kind of pillow up. This will settle once they are cooled. I apologize for the confusion. I honestly need to completely update this old video as viewers have found a couple of mistakes!!! Thanks for asking and let me know if you have any other questions!

You really don't need to use baking powder, I don't in any of my cookie recipes. It helps hold it's shape if you leave it out
