I love life in in SoCal. So relaxed. so calm especially SanDiego and the LaJolla Cove areas. I've only seen a couple of your videos but find your style so wonderfully refreshing. As a.slightly older American I spent 35 years in the aviation world as a commercial pilot flying people all over the world, I was offered an early retirement package in 2020 and now spend all my time watching KZbin, getting my home office set-up with the latest gear and even considering a stab at KZbin videos. I love SD. I’ve visited I think 4 times and am aiming to visit a 5th early next year. We had several friends move out there for a couple years and a couple have moved back, mainly to be back close with family and real friends, so that’s great you guys are close enough to some fam there because it seems like that’s the main reason people move home. That’s why I expect we’ll plant roots in the Boston area when we have the money for a home, but it’s also tough because of how bad my fiancée gets affected by the winter. We’ll weigh all the factors when we get there, but I still think family will lock us in to the east coast at least, cause her parents are moving to FL. but who knows, maybe we’ll say “fuck it, SoCal”

Unfortunately we didn't end up going to San Diego for our honeymoon this year, but we would like to try again soon! We'll have to take note of some of the spots you highlighted! Also, that Hyundai looks nice! I was wondering why the only options are AWD and RWD, but then I looked it up and it's an SUV??? It definitely looks sleek and not like any other SUV I've seen before. I think one of the main barriers for me personally when considering an electric car is not knowing how well it will perform up here in the snowy north.

I got to deal with rising gas prices, riots and crime, and out of control police forces, etc. It's just so much to handle that only God can keep me from depression. I've already been priced out of the housing market.

EV's aren't actually as green as people think. Batteries and charging infrastructure still rely on fossil fuels heavily so the carbon footprint isnt quite what you might think.
