In June I had a procedure done called Coiling. I had a brilliant doctor who did my surgery! I have been very fortunate to get to the hospital before my aneurysm burst. I am 81 years old and I am doing fairly well. I do have some diminish cognitive memory impairment, but I thank God that I am able to function and care for all of my ADL’s. I actually had an appointment with my neurologist today and everything is still intact! I won’t have to see him for a 6 month follow up!! I feel very blessed to be able to function at a high level and still

My name is Kimberly Davis 4/9/2015. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm I’m trying to reach out to some one for help who can I speak with about my aneurysm. I’ve had all the different types of surgeries. I had 5 surgeries done before my surgeon put in a shunt. It’s been 4 years since I’ve had mine and really need to talk to someone please. I have not told my story to anyone publicly. The real issue is whether coiling or clipping is better , yes I know it depends on the case but I’m talking about overall outcomes….

Dear Sir, this time its my 4th Aneurysm : 1st at age 21 Ruptured, Titanium clip, DSAs more than 8 times between age 21 to 28yrs, 2nd age 31 Rupture - massive clot, cleaning itself took 12 hrs, 7 coilings, - right sized semi paralysed, speech loss! very depressive times! i recoveryed 99% speech and physical no one see that i had right side stroke.....again DSA test regularly found another anuersym...all these still date Left size Aneurysm. But we waited till 4 yrs then size was to 7mm so at age 43 coiling and stent! thought never again pls! But once again I have got right -side wide necck 10mmX9mmX9mm ....hmm! Doctors have recommended coiling and stent as soon! Are there such cases like me?
