I am 37. I have had the cooling done 3 times since 2011 when I had a accident that caused a clot to go to my brain and shatter I have had a stroke on August 1 2011 if it wasn't for the accident on the trampoline I would not be here I had one small as a pea but it grew and grew untill surgery in June 23 2014. I was always worried I was going to die but I let go and put it all in God's hands and the dr.s. I have had 2 more surgies since then. I am a happy funny person. I am a survivor of these aneurysms even tho its been 21 years since my dad passed of the same thing in 97. I'm so greatful for god and my son this has changed me I'm still learning and trying my best and do my best. I support this group. May God bless us all.

I survived an ruptured aneurysm that lead to a haemorhage half year ago. I was very lucky especially because my doctor send me home and only 5 days later after having incredible headaches they believed me and found I had a haemorhage. I was in hospital for 3 weeks at IC and had a coiling. I'm doing well right now.

What do you think that caused you to have that aneurysm?

My mother had an aneurysm when she was 40, they pronounced her dead in the hospital but they put her on life support, a week later she was in a coma, after a month she woke up and was alive. she wasn't able to move her left side, unable to talk, and was blind because of blood behind her eyes. after 5 month in the hospital with physical therapy and eye surgery she looks as if she had a minor accident. she is slow at things but it has been 5 years now an if you were to see her you wouln't know

I was 18 when I had my rupture, I can't remember absolutely anything, I just woke up in hospital with people around me, I was really lucky I didn't suffer death or any disability. I had Gamma Knife surgery for the aneurysm and now I'm ready to start living again. I am now 19 and optimistic about the future. I really recommend everyone that suffers from unexplained headaches to get referred to a neurologist, they might just save your life.

I am a 71 yr. old female with that being the only risk factor I have. My blood pressure is usually to the low side, and I don't smoke and never have. I don't drink much at all. I have a 6mm SHA aneurysm and a 2mm one too. These were discovered when I had a TIA stroke. I am scheduled for a cerebral angiogram next month.

I had a brain annerysim after having an emergency c-section due to extremely high blood pressure with my daughter. She was 31 weeks. I had terrible headaches and eventually had a seizure causing a Brian annerysim in my right front temporial lobe.

I am wondering about this, Islipped on some stairs like 4 months ago and got the right side of my head hard behind and above my ear. I started getting pain in this same area a week or so ago. Now it's hurting non stop. My Dr made an appointment for me on Thursday. Could a head injury from months ago cause an anurism 4 months later??
