I have dark hair n I’m thinking of getting some highlights next week before a hens party. I had a good experience with a lip flip. My top lip was so thin before the injection n flip. Hi Melissa…. I received the OXX “sparkling rose”brown sugar lip set and the blush & highlighter duo. I love them both. I find that the lipstick stays on for a lot longer than others I’ve used and I’ve been using the highlighter on my cheeks and eyelids. I will have to have the plaster on for another 4 weeks 😪. I have to pay the hairdresser to wash and dry my hair about twice a week. Lucky I have straight hair as it looks good long, blond and straight. I'm planning on growing it longer this time so it's easier to have a wave in it. I wouldn’t feel bad about not being able to afford looking fake. I find it all plastic looking. I personally prefer character on a face. It’s a shame women feel they have to do these things to feel better about themselves. I’d much prefer to spend the money on a nice holiday, time with loved ones. I bet you are beautiful ❤

Hi Melissa, new sub from Brissy here. Totally agree re the botox! Less is more. I also had an issue after having the corners of my mouth done to see if it would help with them looking a little downturned/sad. The result was awful every time I went to bite into anything like an apple. My top lip would literally turn right up towards my nose! Never again! You might be interested to learn I've just discovered something called Sunekos which is supposed to be much better than botox and fillers. Not sure if it's available here yet but I'm investigating! Have a look on here for Dr Abs who I believe developed it, Amanda

Hi Melissa...I too like to look good and am not ashamed at all for salon visits to cover my white....(at 25) hair and roots. People say all the time that we should not cover our grey hair and my answer to that is I have no intention to grow old gracefully....I'm fighting it all the way😄😅😃💖💖. I use blue shampoo because I have red and brassy color so unflattering hence the blue color to offset that 😊. In my late 70s I also walk everywhere and eat plant based, and wear flattering styles. You look great, and keep enhancing your natural qualities and bring out what's beautiful inside and never listen or read negativity....I'm from Arizona, and we used to say it's the Code of the West to ignore the worst, and lift up the best.
