I would like to hear more about NHPN-1010 research. This surgery, however, seems promising and is closer to reality in the not so distant future. My tinnitus was caused by a high frequency hearing lose. More so in my left ear.

I have hearing loss in the 8k range. I have ringing 24/7. Never true peace in my head.

Very interesting information. How can i find out, If my Tinnitus is caused by hearing damage? Can hearing damage also caused by too much stress, so that the Hair cells are irreversible destroyed?
@treblehealth3 күн бұрын
The way to find out if your tinnitus is caused by hearing damage would be to get a hearing test, to determine what level of hearing loss you have. Then discuss your results with a tinnitus specialist, most often an audiologist.

So this is for people that have profound hearing loss from "sudden hearing loss" and now have severe tinnitus in place of verbal recognition? Trials will not start until 2025. Are you talking months or years before this cell replacement procedure could be approved and used? Also, is this a minimal surgery or a pill you take? Im confused...
@Kainkrup3 күн бұрын
I think its a minimal surgery with new safer methods to get the drug directly into inner ear

@@Kainkrupthey need to hurry up dude I only have one life like omg doctors didn’t just leave patients to suffer from Tinnitus and hearing loss no way I will embrace that I can’t even bear it let alone embrace it deaf cultures who say deafness is good thing and not disability should be banned we don’t need deaf schools we need a cure

@@Kainkrupand no i don’t care about that one girl on KZbin who shows her songs on KZbin and KZbin shorts and accepts her hearing loss and embraces it when it’s bad thing and im shocked and frankly appalled at complete passivity of hearing loss sufferers
