Ryan C to aim is very simple. Launch in the general direction. Over, and over. Adjust as necessary. In a siege situation, you will be launching your attacks for days, weeks, months; Even years at a time! Day and night, just keep it going.

@@crgo1008 Yes. The reason I said this one is the best is because it’s all in one shot, you can clearly see what the trebuchet is aimed at, and you a view similar to that of the siege army. By contrast, most videos either don’t clearly the entire process of the trebuchet throwing the projectile, or make it hard to tell how far/fast the projectile travels.

And you can't even carry knives let alone a sword , no matter the length. You can't even own the knife if it's double edged and/or it has a groove (apparently that makes it too dangerous).

Fun fact. When besieging a castle they would often build these just as a bluff. even ones that look like real trebuchets but infact where just made to look the part. Inorder to get the other party to surrender. due to the length of time needed to erect such a structure. the sheer sight of seeing these go up would signal to the one inside that they mean business and resistance is futile..or so they say Like: "oh god they are serious. If they can afford to build all these expensive trebuchets who knows what will happen when they finally take the castle.."

@@fabianspieler9485 Yeah it was in that region too, couldn't remember the name of the place I knew I recognised that spot A little more on the left there was a little wall where you could seat and I vividly remember sitting directly behind the Trebuchet because for some reason people sat themselves on the sides leaving the central seats empty In less than 10 seconds I hear someone screaming something in french at me and all the spectators suddenly staring at me The dude repeated himself again and as I observed the empty seats at my sides I finally realised it was for safety reasons in case the Trebuchet malfunctioned, as it could've hit anyone standing directly behind it Boy oh boy, I have a history of embarassing myself in public, lol

Trebuchét was basically a siege weapon... Very rarely used for battles.
