Tree Stump Removal with the Rhino Ripper using a B2261 Kubota Compact Tractor

This video shows the removal of a black cherry tree stump using the home made Rhino Ripper on a Kubota Compact Tractor. This only takes a couple of. minutes without manual cutting or digging.
The Rhino Ripper is a quick connect front loader implement that is specifically designed and manufactured for tree stump removal by compact tractors. The technique and approach to efficiently and effectively remove a stump using this device is explained and illustrated.

Thanks for another good video. I copied your design last year and made my ripper to be placed on pallet fork frame. It works well. Thanks for the idea and sharing your great ideas.

Great to hear that the ripper design works well for you too. The nice thing about a pallet fork frame is that you can even place it off-centre (e.g. more to the right or left) when this is prefered. Am I correct? Do you also have a guard frame at the top of the pallet forks? I can imagine that this large frame can be a nuisance in limited spaces.

@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries yes, it does have a frame at the top. I made it removable after bending it on some standing trees. I build the blade on a plate with gussets, welded in bolts to align with slot positions, and drilled and tapped lower pallet fork frame . So the unit sets in place on the top two bolts and and bolted on with two bolts on bottom. Takes a few minutes to put on but gives some versatility.
