thank u😊they grow sooo fast ur going to love them! the aphids and chewing insects love then too tho😐we r constantly having to look under the leaves and wash off aphids to keep the plants free from pests.. tree collards are one of our favorites to grow😁

These look like what I had. I planted them from seed, but I threw the seed packet away so I can’t positively identify them. They lasted 3 years before they went to seed. They started out looking like any low growing variety of Collards, but as I harvested the leaves from the bottom, they continued growing higher.

Your tree look great. I am growing tree collars I use BT, and neem oil for worms, and aphids, but the problem is some leaves keep turning yellow I feed them once a month with Alaska fish fertilizer, but the leaves keep turning yellow some of them would you please have any suggestions? Thank You

hi bill, thank you🙂our bottom leaves yellow when they get to the end of their life, are your yellowing leaves at the bottom only? yellowing can be caused by either too much water, if it’s sitting in soggy soil or not enough water so the plant leaves die. we place our tree collards in areas where they will grow under a raised bed or area where they can access some consistent moist soil. the tree collard in this video is planted next to our building where the roots access the moist soil under the building without being to wet😊hope this helps!

yes, ours are growing in the direct sun and will see temps in the high 90s.
