The blackberry used to have this layout and early qwerty keyboards. But I'm 43. I lived through those days and and happy to have this ease of use back!

I agree with everything except the zoom quality and the charging speeds. 1. The optical 5x zoom of the Pixel is definitely much better than the Samsung zoom quality on equal scenarios. I would say the Pro Folds cameras are Pixel 8 Pro quality but not quite Pixel 9 Pro levels. The image processing and saturation for Samsung is more aligned with people's general tastes because it oversaturates everything making colors "pop". 2. Both have mediocre charging specs at best, specially if we compare them to the cabled charging performance of the One Plus Open which is 1 year old. It probably has to do with maintaining the health of two separate batteries which means additional degradation on the long terms and the need to balance both with a proper battery management system.

I love both of these phones. Z Fold 6 has more multitasking, spen, and overall more powerful. However, I use the Pixel 9 pro fold more for the 2 phone experience and better cameras. The cover display blows Samsung's narrow screen away. Z Fold 6 is definitely the prettiest. Pink color is fire

It's just a unique experience, having a foldable. Not having to go whip out a laptop, when you already have it your hand, and all you have to do is just open it up. And when you're done, just close it back, and put it in your pocket. If you can find a cheap one that's used, buy it and try it out.

Pixel UI is all over the place and looks like "kid's mode" lol. "Clean Android" essentially means that the foldable form factor is utterly wasted. Duplicate apps... there are barely any, and you're not forced to use them. Apps like Samsung Email are better than Gmail, too.

I have owned both the fold 6 and the 9 pro fold. I can say hands down that the pixel is a better all around phone. Samsung needs to rethink the design of the fold.

I have used both also, and I disgree... the wider screen on the front of the pixel is the only thing it has that I would say is better. The rest of the overall use of the phone goes to samsung ... multitasking, s pen, and battery samsung wins them all. The pixel is much improved though

I used both, returned fold 6, kept pixel fold, but I use my old z fold 5 more than the pixel. Just the multi task, ability to use the s pen alone takes me back to the fold 5. It depends on what you want, but for me, fold does it even though it is the fold 5. Pixel rests most of the time at home as I carry teh fold

Because I got both devices and I can get home and start charging my pixel around 35% The lowest I've gotten is 32% when I finish my day now with the z-fold six, if I'm lucky I can get home and start charging from 30% which is not the case most of the time and whether people agree or don't agree with my comment. The best phone right now is a pixel 9 Pro fold. I know Google is young in the foldable market and they need a lot of work with their software and they also need to figure out that they're working with an 8-inch display that needs to have better multitasking and software integration with strong bonds with app developers to make the phone a little better but having a phone that has recycled the 50 megapixel sensor for a long time that's taking baby refinement steps who has followed the same design code since the Z fold 3 and they're charging more money and they're really hasn't been a design change that makes people want to own the next Samsung foldable. Open your eyes, buddy. Samsung may have the best software in the business. But do you think that's gonna save them from other major losses? They suffer every year. They have always expected an increase of 10% revenue. And their foldables are failing, and every year they're selling less until they think real, hard and redesign. Give, they're loyal customers, the foldable. They want they're going to keep losing money, add market share. Yes, software is key on any phone. But when a company is Slapping you with the apple treatment. And every year, the phone looks the same, just with minor changes. That's gonna make people look at the two best foldables offered in the united States OnePlus and the pixel 9 pro fold and forget that Samsung exists even though the software obliterates both of them. Most of us who have been with Samsung for a long time are already tired of the same design language and the fact that they might release. A special edition variant of the Z Fold 6. That is only going to be in the Chinese market. And and home sweet, home of South Korea. And I stand with my point affordable, shouldn't obligate you to open it all the time. It should have a proper cover display Like the pixel 9 pro fold and it doesn't matter how well polished and integrated. Samsung's software is, if you as a company are going to offer the same lame design with minor changes and you're gonna charge more for a foldable. Then expect people to walk away and pick a different foldable from the ones that are offered here in the states

I took m P9PF back after about 10 days because of an incurable Blue Tooth problem. Maximum 6 foot range to me Bose head phones, terrible connection to my hearing aids, Dropping connection to my car (Phone as a Key). I tried every control in Settings/developer... nothing helped. I'm not the only one, Google it. Too bad, I REALLY liked it otherwise. Check your needs and read other's solutions.

But notice the open display with curved edges reduces anything that you may see with the open display sharper edge... thats my biggest noticeable problem over the crease, camera, or anything else others might nitpick at. I notice it more than anything even with the z fold 5 when gaming and you got bars and numbers/words that are cut off by the corner curve. Hopefuly they stay away from going back to that with Samsung in the next couple years or so when I decide to upgrade... to see other foldables have even larger curve is just a big no go for me.

imo the folding devices are just too bulky and big. Had a fold 4 for two years and switched to a flip because the damn thing constantly was falling out of my hoodie because it didnt fit in my pocket with all my other stuff like keys wallet etc. Flip on the other hand can fit in my back pocket easily without risk of falling out if needed.

I must be one of those rare people who prefers the Z Fold 6's slim 'cover' screen more than the other brand's with wider, 'normal' phone sized screen. For me, it's easier to pocket, it's easier to use one handed. If I need to see more, than I use the 'Main' screen. I think if the Z Fold design changes to a wider 'Cover' screen, I will be switching back to the candy bar phones.

I have watched about 6 reviews on these 2. And 3 are the same idea of reviews supporting Samsung yhe other 3 support the pixel. So i am no better off. What i have noticed is. Its in the eyes, ears and touch of the individual. Because we all see, feel and hear differently. So i will just buy what one is having a better deal when i am ready.
