It's hard to over state two things. Firstly, how under rated Stephen Stills is. Secondly, and more importantly, how absolutely brilliant he is. His influence on modern music is enormous. Jimi Hendrix apparently said Stephen was his favourite guitarist to jam with. High praise indeed!

After 45 years of hearing him in the background, I started listening to this amazing musician. He has chops like very few, and can make it sound beautiful at the same time, a distinction that can not be understated. "Jimi Hendrix apparently said Stephen was his favorite guitarist to jam with. Listening to this I'm reminded once again how much Stills guitar sound shaped music in the 1970s. This particular song reminds me of the classic CSN&Y album 4 Way Street (although this was released years after that seminal recording) Stephen has a lonely bluesy quality in his playing that draws you in and perfectly compliments his warm earthy vocals.

What an incredible performance!Steven Stills is a dynamic soulful talent and I love his powerful guitar 🎸playing style rooted deep in the blues. What a legend...I wish just him and Neil would have made a another album or two together. Those two playing guitar together is just fire🔥
