The 'Taming' update arrived on consoles on 27 June (with its share of bugs). I don't understand the developers. They're offering this 'experience' with the risk of players losing their base in the event of a raid, a base they may have spent several days/weeks building, rather than offering content for the game. Players want exploration, fights, crafting, new armors/weapons, something to decorate their bases... When I also see that this 'experience' can cause you to lose your saves, as we say in French, 'c'est du grand n'importe quoi/it's complete nonsense'...Thanks for this video !

@patriciagousset2884 it's a totally optional thing. You're going to have to steal the mantis egg and incubate it in order for the raid toeven start. It's not a reoccurring thing that just randomly happens. Saw the Dev's explain that in detail to someone who thought the same thing as you. Just so you know.

I'm learning a good amount of French from you, and I love it! The raids destroying the base was something I am concerned about. I will recommend that they add that to a slider (whether or not the base can be destroyed with raids). The good thing is the Raids are only triggered when you place a Mantis egg in the incubator - so you will be in charge and will have time to prepare for it. Once the update becomes fully released, you will not be at risk of losing your saves. How did you like the new canopy look? Thank you for all your feedback and support. Hope you have a great day!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Praying Mantis. I feel blessed when they show up in my real garden (S. Oregon). My hubby and I play Smalland together. He has said hi to you before. We can't wait for the cross play. (Come on Xbox and Sony get it together). So anyhoo good see how this new creature is to be and that we can ride them- sweet. I still wish they would let us ride the Dragonfly. Though I enjoy the damselfly- very peaceful to cruise around and harvest. Well blessings on your adventures.

Yes, they are a rare treat to see! I must say the game has done them justice and may have just become one of my new favorite tames. Bill, right? So glad to finally meet the wife he talks about! This game maybe have graphics that look "old", but first it still really beautiful, and second, EVERY insects and creatures are SO WELL DONE !!! Like the models, textures, animations etc... that SO GOOD !!! My only complain is a lot of creatures share the same sounds, like the mantis make the same sound than a lot of insects in the game... that would be better if they had ALL uniques sounds !

@CLRgamingRN no bad news out here. weather's good, 4th of July weekend, new tames. Everything's good! I want a mantis so bad 😩 I'm also really excited for these base raids. Hey now, we will take good news wherever and whenever we can! I think the Raids have some pretty neat potential. I would have been okay if the raid lasted the full 5 mins, to be honest. I also play 7 Days to Die which has a Horde night ever 7 days, where you have to defend your base, so it was scratching that itch. I think a slider to turn base destruction on or off would be a good compromise. I have to do more testing, but the Mantis seemed to be a pretty good tame/ decent fighter so worth the raid, in my humble opinion.

i made this suggestion to them back in january. "Soggy Jan 9 @ 12:56am Adding a mantis mother would be a great addition to the game along with after she is defeated either allowing for a treat or to be able to receive an egg for raising or trading like the blue tit for a mount"

I really wish they could add coordinates to the map. It’s the tree encampment near the forbidden lands, near a river and by the huge ant pile. It’s the ant pile that has the Bazooka soldier (I made a video showing that soldiers precise location - maybe that could help you out more). Please let me know if that helps. I have also made an updated video for the Treetops Update that I released today - that shows the map.

In total? You can have an infinite amount of tames I believe. You can only have up to 4 tames active at a time though (granted they are less than 100 pts. Different tames cost a different amount of points. You have a limit of 100 points or 4 tames - whichever comes first.) Hope that makes sense and answers your question - if not please let me know. @@collindietrick8104 Yes, for the most part. Up to 100 points. The better tames are more expensive. So, you might only be able to have 3 better tames or so. The more you tame the better of an idea you will have of which tames you can have active in your party. You can have as many tames as you'd like, but remember there is a BOND meter. You will have to pet all the tames you acquire frequently because if the BOND meter drops to 0 - they can leave you, haha. So, show them all the love. You can also set traps to catch tames - not just hatching eggs.

As far as I know, the incubator is only for the Mantis eggs. Would be interesting if they added new creature that you can use it with. I don't knowwww, the Mantis proved to me (after the latest Smalland's video - check it out kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4K9hoCcnKeLi5o ) that they are quite a valuable asset especially early game. Scorpion is a great fighter, but that is relatively late game.
