Trek Allant + 7S First Impressions

First impressions of my first electric bike after a few days of riding around the south Denver metro. If spoilers are your thing, the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I point out a few items that bother me a little, but for the most part I can't say enough good things about it. I intend to do another after I've ridden it for a while, and meant to do one after the first ride, but I was so excited to ride it I left the go pro at home. woopsie :)

The Trek Allante 7S is an excellent choice when it comes to an Ebike. Every time I ride, it puts a big smile on my face. Quality and value all in one package can't go wrong here.

I'd totally buy another. I shot another follow-up review a couple days ago & will try to get it uploaded tomorrow. And yeah, why not add rear suspension since it's already heavy. Even pavement bikes benefit from rear suspension.

Hey David. I'm riding a large at 6'. I do find the reach to be a little short, but am going to mount a suspension seatpost at some point and will try to find one with a little offset. Unlike a lot of modern frames, this one seems to run a pinch on the small side. I could probably jump up a size and make it work, but it's still comfy enough to ride 5+ hours (and still has battery - generally stay in eco mode)

I'm 6'-2" with 34" inseam, I bought an XL frame and it is just right for me.

I have one of these. I think your dealer did a crappy job of setup for you. Just saying. Sucky audio. Just saying again.

I don't disagree. Factory build wasn't perfect either. But I was going to dial it in to my liking anyway, so as long as the electrics keep working properly I'm a happy camper :) And yeah, apologies for the audio. Some things you learn the hard way.

I live in Colorado as well and I know how the wind can blow. You should have picked a calmer day for your video without that Goddamn high wind in with your audio!

If I waited for the wind to stop blowing, I'd never get anything done lol. Try the follow-up video. It's way better :)
