I disagree. I prefer mechanical all day. Who wants to have to plug in their bike? Not me.

Recently got the emonda alr 5 as my first road bike, paid 1.5k. I love the thing and the mechanical 105 is great, but looking at the price of this, I think I got a better deal. spending closer to 3k I'd want electronic shifting. The emonda alr6 with di2 is only 2k

Emonda ALR 5 is like 2500$, what are you talking about for $1,5k ? Used maybe, brand new from LBS hardly...even with Trek fest deals this price is unrealistic
