Mark Tremonti is the Grammy Award-winning guitarist and songwriter known for his work in the critically acclaimed Alter Bridge and in the multi-platinum rock juggernaut Creed. His sound is recognizable and has garnered him a loyal fan base worldwide.
In 2012, Mark formed Tremonti with Eric Friedman and Garrett Whitlock as an outlet for his love of harder riffs and the band has released three full-length albums to date. On June 8th, Tremonti returns with their fourth album A Dying Machine, a concept album that showcases Mark’s unique songwriting style and vocal melodies. Anthemic choruses, punishing riffs and fiery guitar solos are displayed on the album in rockers like ‘From the sky’ and ‘Throw them to the lions’ and places them alongside the infectiously catchy ‘Take you with me’ and ‘The first the last’.
Tremonti will be on a worldwide tour in support of A Dying Machine including opening for Iron Maiden this summer.

Creed's first album is flawless (almost classic), the second is good, the third isn't bad and the fourth was very decent (since Mark had evolved a lot and it had solos and very badass riff sections and overall heavier tighter sound). Creed's material isn't as good as the rest of Mark's work but it has it's own moments and highlights in a way none of his other bands have. Plus Creed is basically what gave him worldwide recognition, a Grammy award, filled his bank account with a shitload of money and funded his future acts and made them possible.

I have to say it mark tremonti is the most underrated guitar player ever, he doesn't get the credit he deserves. From the early days of Creed, to Alter Bridge and his solo projects. In comparison with all the other guitar legends (Hammett, young, van halen, slash, schenker, richards) he also can sing like a god. So maybe just maybe Tremonti is the greatest Guitar player/ Songwriter/ Artist of our generation. Also love this song

I was in the shower blasting Pandora when this came on. Never heard this song before, but I'm a huge Alter Bridge/Creed fan & I immediately knew it was Mark.
