The artillery witch art is what got me interested in this franchise to begin with. Its good I ike her rules and the Death Commando's too. Will definitely be playing heretic legions going forwards.

@@SpymasterGaming Definitely going all in and I'll be playing New Antioch - first artwork I saw for Trench crusade is the one with the regular troopers and the heavy guy it just instantly clicked for me

All of the factions look rad as hell, but I love the Trench Pilgrim’s look the most. Other factions have cooler individual models or rules, (looking at you, War Wolf) but the overall aesthetic of an army is what’s most important to me, and most of the TP’s look absolutely awesome. I also love how New Antioch looks, but compared to the other factions, they look a little basic? Like in any other game they’d have some of the coolest models (i feel like they’d make awesome imperial guard) but when put next to any other faction in TC, they look too “normal”

@@sandyman3070 I think that's the appeal of new antioch. They are humanity against the demons and the anchor to reality in the setting. I'm with you on trench pilgrims though. My poor poor wallet....

NA are definitely the SPEHS MARINS of the setting but hey, SPEHS MARINS help there to be other factions in the game by making the game profitable lol. And the different variant teams like the Eire Rangers and the Prussians and the Papal States guards seem like they'll provide a lot of variety.

I am really looking forward to the Iron Sultanate as well! Love the aesthetic and potential for cool models. At first I was a bit concerned how the Azebs would fair on the Battlefield given that they seem to have muskets, but glad to know they have magic Ammunition for their jezzails

I love the look, just not a fan of them only having muskets instead of bolt action rifles.

@daswordofgork9823 jezzails too although which can be quite nasty 😀 I think thematically it makes sense as the ottomans were some of the first pioneers of gun powder so it makes sense for them to have weaponry that relies on it I guess?

I'm excited to see if the Highlander sub-faction is going to get models. Other than that I really like the Heretic Legion. The game as a whole just hits home for me, visually, though. I hope it takes off!

@@SpymasterGaming I could always use my Scottish minis from Infinity, though. They actually have some great fits. Just aren't grim-dark enough and I wouldn't want to convert them.

Love how people are complaining over the price of Trench crusade, like listen dumb fucks the creators have put the heart and soul into this project, and compared to Games workshop pricing and other high end miniature retailers, it’s rather cheap.

@ well said, from listening to the interviews they have done, they have day jobs and lives but there willing to put every additional second into building a game with immaculate lore and art. They are legends for sure.

I was looking forward to it as i enjoy the rules but damn... The pricing on the STLs is insane tbh. Think its nearly 400 euro for stls with a physical book. Its selling alot for sure but was shocked tbh

@SpymasterGaming I understand but it is very expensive for STLs. Also from what I understand they have a Patreon that has been keeping them afloat. It is just very expensive even more so at this time of the year and how economic issues are globally. Book prices I have no issues with, I have backed many RPG stuff with alot of big books covering anything for a fraction of the price. Anyway I hope it does well as the game is really fun with a great theme and flavour. Reminds me of the old 40k stuff by that I mean the Grimdark, Blood and Mud feel to everything.
