Trend Mortise and Tenon Jig - Holtonfixit101

Welcome to Holtonsfixit101. In this video were talking about the Trend mortice & tenoning jig. Now I've had this jig for some years but only used it on occasion, it was not my usual way for joining bits of wood. Just of late I wanted a new stool for the workshop. As I was going to use angled tenons and compound angles for the legs a rungs the Trend jig seamed the perfect choice. In the video I give a quick overview and in the next video with this jig were have a go at doing some actual joints.Mortice & tenons are not the only type of joint this jig can make though. It can do dowel joints as well as making square tenons as well as rounded corner tenons.

What do you do when you have to cut a tenon on a large length of wood for framing and the device can only be placed at table height with the wood piece placed vertically inside the device. How do you get around a long length of wood to be tenoned thanks
