The grounds of her getting fired is not for her point of view but the fact that she released sensitive personal information into a public spectrum or social network, it like a hotel releasing information about their guests online for any crazy nut to browse through. People who cannot control their emotions and separate their personal career from their own personal belief is not qualified to hold any position of power. Very unprofessional.

@Danny lifts hey ignoramus, you don't have to be a citizen to attend public school, nor do you need to speak the common (NOT OFFICIAL) language to receive a visa, a green card, or even citizenship. You are as disgustingly racist as this teacher, if you think you can judge who is here legally or not based on what language they speak. I had visas to live and work outside the US many times, or legally resided in places for less than 90 days without a visa, and sometimes I don't know a word of the language in the country I'm visiting. When I first moved to Korea, I didn't speak any Korean, yet I was these legally on a visa. You're completely and utterly brainless if you think you are an accurate judge of who is "illegal" and who is not.

Well she said she tried to talk to the school board and others but they would not listen. So it's not like she tried tweeting at first. Also her job is not to protect all children but to teach the children of tax- paying Americans. And according to her she's reporting a crime. Is she not supposed to turn in drug-dealing students, because as a teacher her job is to "protect" students? But sadly there is a 1982 Supreme Court decision that forces our teacher to teach the children of illegal immigrants.
