Honestly Japan is just so far ahead of us when it comes to fashion trends. They've been girlcore-ing for years now with their ultra feminine aesthetics involving lots of bows, fluffy accessories, kawaii hello kitty themed clothing. Oversized, baggy clothes also started trending there years before they did here (talking about the current recycle ofc, not talking about actual early 2000s)

I went to Japan this summer and the kawaii J fashion trend has died off in recent years. I saw a lot of long skirts, a lot of sneakers and jeans and more of a casual gothic look going. Hello Kitty is popular but not all the girls wear it as much, some girls wear it and dress in Lolita but Gyaru has died off. I saw a lot of western influence when I was there and Parisian themed looks.

Ive been collecting those flower hats from the 90s but theyre hard to find lol. I noticed that it really complemented the outfits though so yeah i wish it was more of a thing too. Most of the trendy hats and bows/ribbons i see look terrible on me which sucks lol, but the flower hats work for me😅

The same with me for low rise jeans, they look better on me than high rise, and I deffo love bootcut or baggy low rise jeans. Loved the video☺️!
