Yeah it’s a lot of work. However I can see the more I do it the faster I would get at it just like anything of course. So if I was to do this design for a client, most clients would not want every finger being a flower which would be personally in my artistic opinion, too much flower . So I think to make a flowers stand out it be best to do it as an accent, nail or two on one hand

I did this the other day on a nail tip. It turned out ok. Doing it reversed in a dual form looks beautiful as well, but you paint each petal on a separate form and flash cure, then lay them inside with builder gel between. Looks very realistic. This technique takes a lot of patience. I could see gaps between the color layers when I did mine this way. I guess I didn’t bring the petal color out far enough underneath. This is so pretty tho. Very nice!❤ The first one I tried was a rainbow rose, the second faded from baby blue to purple on the outer petals. The one that I did inverted looked the best though, with white petals that had a pink edge, applied with a very pale jelly yellow. Looked so good! We used to grow a rose called “circus circus” that was that color combination.

I retired in 364 days ago. Loving every minute. Just before I left the job, I started polishing with us gel to try to get some strength in my nails. They’ve never been strong. I loved the polish, but after watching you for a while, I bravely started building my own nails…mainly for strength rather than length. I prefer the thick builder gels. I so much appreciate your tutorials, tho my husband isn’t so sure. I’ve been buying quite a bit of product! Thank you for the step-by-step info. Waldo, Ohio, USA.

This turned out gorgeous. The only thing I would say to help with the "ribbon" look that you talked about, is not joining your petals together in the one layer. Work on 2 or 3 separate petals for each layer and put the edges close together but don't blend them. It will give more definition.

Hey Suzie, I have a question about fake tips and acrylic. About four years ago I was getting acrylic done but after about three or four fills they would tell me to get them completely soaked off for a completely new set. I now do my own nails at home. I was spending way too much money for subpar work......there is not a good community of nail artists where I live. Especially after covid, quality got horrible. I had a massive amount of lifting, lots of breakage, and even had many nails just randomly pop off. After watching you I learned what they were after - fast work for a big profit that was not good quality. I have been doing color dip at home and I'm never going back.....with one exception: #1 on my bucket list plan a Canada trip, see Niagra Falls and have Suzie do a stellar set of tips for me! The question: Why do some nail salons not follow the golden rule of making sure they inspect their work? And does excessively oily nail beds possibly cause the amount of lifting I had? (I would have lifting within a week on ALL my nails, never failed). Funny thing is with dip i do not have this problem because I take my time, wash my hands, do a good job prepping the nail bed which mine are long, and do the dip. I get about a week and a half of wear before i need to fill it. The lifting is minimal and any of that I remove the product to redo that individual nail. So far I have gotten about a half inch of growth beyond my fingertips. I know you do not like working with color dip but it has saved me money and has allowed me strength to my nails so they could grow out. I want a good length for when I get a set done by you!

@NailCareerEducation Жыл бұрын
Can’t do this with acrylic, you can do 100% with acrylic you just have to make the layers quite send the problem with that is sometimes acrylic with the sinner. It is of course it lose its pigment. We’re gel maintains its strong pigment even if it’s very thin. So you could do the clear parts with clear acrylic and then still add your gel polish colour if you like.
