Sir you used Carter v Thomas case example for direct interference in this video while in other video you gave defence for ACT OF PUBLIC NECESSITY for similar extinguishing fire case. I'm confused whether defendant is liable in such situations or what?

Yes you are correct i discussed this case in example of direct interference and the defence of necessity but in the defence of necessity the plaintiff filed a suit of trespass against defendant and defendant took the defence of neccessity as his contention was that he entered in the premises of plaintiff to extinguish the fire, but the court held liable to the defendant because the fire brigade was already working and there was no necessity. So in defence of necessity the defendant took the defence but he failed.

It depends if he enters in execution of his official duty, he will not be liable. Out of official duty he will be liable.
