You fail to comprehend basic English: The law separates news photography from "other photographs" and does not give just any personnel authority to infringe on the press. The legislature that wrote the law, and the postmaster General do not consider local postmasters "authorised personnel" for the purposes of having discretion over constitutional issues. Most of those employees don't even have high school diplomas. The lowest level USPS personnel to have that kind of authority would be a regional postmaster, a postal inspector or a postal police officer, and they have always upheld the rights of the photographers in these encounters. There are many videos proving so.

A post office is a limited or non public forum, which means the management can set up rules for the use of the facility. Violate the rules and you can be trespassed out. The postal authorities have the power to trespass you out. If you refuse to leave or leave and come back in you are subject to criminal trespass under the general trespass laws of the state. I challenged them and won on points of law and the trespass was vacated. I know of many videos where Postal Police, Postal Inspectors and other Federal officers confirm the right of the press to record in USPS lobbies. Trespass occurs when someone enters or remains on the property of another unlawfully. Entering and remaining in a post office lobby during open business hours while using a camera to record content for publication is lawful, and not a basis for trespass.

And here's the supreme Court on this whole nonsense of, "you can't be trespassed from public property." Adderly v. It seems odd that almost no police officers or their administrators anywhere in the nation know this, nor do prosecutors who keep prosecuting these cases and judges that do not dismiss these cases. Heck even he US Attorneys Office wrote a while ago that some crimes at the Post Office can best be handled by local courts, hence local police. (See Justice Manual Assaults on Postal Employees 1570) Even the US Attorneys Office does not know local police can not enforce on federal property. You people are again confusing jurisdiction and authority. Any law enforcement officer has authority to intervene in a criminal activity even on federal property. Any officer can enact an arrest for a person’s criminal activity.(Misdemeanor or felony) A cop can certainly even arrest a federal officer if that officer is committing a crime. To think otherwise is asinine. The only difference between federal, state, county and local authorities is jurisdiction. Once an arrest has been made on federal property, the criminal and evidence would be turned over to the office having jurisdiction. This is done since it would be highly unlikely that a federal officer (FPS/DHS) would be present at the time. Don’t kid yourself. Honestly can you imagine? 911 what is your emergency? Two federal judges have already ruled you don't have a first amendment right to film on postal property and this case proves your wrong about poster 7. And I will share these case laws with the prosecutor so he makes sure to prosecute you. WIGGINTON VS UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE AND THE PEOPLE VS WIGGINTON. Long Island audit covered the arrest on his channel but didn't share the out come. He was found guilty of all charges by a jury and lost his lawsuit against the postoffice and also lost his lawsuit against the police.

Nice try troll: Wiggins v. United States Postal Service is regarding a wrongful termination/discrimination suit by a postal employee. There are no cases of PEOPLE VS WIGGINTON regarding postal property. The most recent case regarding postal property law was (11th circuit?) which ruled the feds can't even ban firearms on federal property. If that holds then how could they restrict cameras?

Also, new case law impacts the interpretation and implementation of FPS enforced regulations.
