Hi, Melbourne and Adelaide suburban trains are 1600. Sydney and the rest of New South Wales are all 1435mm. Brisbane and all of Queensland, Perth and West Australia are 1067mm. However all interstate main lines are 1435 as well as some intrastate lines in states that have the other gauges. Thanks for watching!

What is that rail in the centre of the tracks before FSS

If it is a rail between the 2 running rails and on a curve, this is to catch any derailed wheels and hopefully stop the carriage from falling off a bridge.
