Thank you 😊🙏🏼 My pleasure And they are so simple too, it's mind boggling. Your really don't need much to tell a story.

I love all your videos, but I have a special appreciation for your Painting Masters series because as an adult who is no longer in school, I don't see new artists unless I spend a lot of time searching them out. Especially as an aspiring watercolor painter, seeing as how my high school and college art classes taught how to paint with acrylics. The way you break down the paintings and show examples help me a lot when I am trying to do my own paintings.

Thank you 😊🙏🏼 So happy to hear you like this series, as it's coincidentally the one I enjoy making the most! I have a long list and many episodes planned out 😉🎨 Hope you'll find them as enjoyable!

I love seeing the diversity there is between styles and techniques of every artist. I feel like my understanding of watercolour and what it can do grows every time I see beautiful art.

Superb video showcasing an excellent artist, Liron - having spent the first 54 years of my life in England before moving to Florida in 2006, I'm bound to love any artist who depicts English landscapes and townscapes. I'd seen some of Trevor's paintings before - at the end of his book 'Watercolour Fast and Loose' the late lamented Ron Ranson showed his own personal collection of other artist's works and no less than three of his paintings were by Trevor Chamberlain! Anyway, thanks for displaying a more extensive selection of his works in your video (despite it making me feel a bit homesick for England!). This series of videos covering works by your own favourite artists really is great! All the best, Brian.

great video, Trevor Chamberlain is a master at watercolour, they appear simple but they are anything but, his understanding of the medium and technique is outstanding. the distilling of the scene is superb and very very difficult to achieve.

Another stellar analysis liron. I enjoy Chamberlains style as well. I hope to work to an impressionist style one day because I agree that it’s fun to let the viewers engage and speculate on the scene.

Liron, this artist work is amazing. I loved this because I'm a watercolorist, but I also like to dabble in oils . . A Florida artist that works in both mediums is Dean Mitchell. What an inspiration he is. I've seen a lot of his work as he has a gallery close by . A few of the pieces you showed reminded me of Mitchells' work. His watercolors of a limited palette. The 2 boats with the buildings in back. Beautiful! ! Thank you so much for this vid. Loved it.

Wow - I wasn't familiar with his work and it's so BEAUTIFUL 🤩 Thank you for letting me know (they do use a very similar color palette at times, it seems). I will dive deeper on his work 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hello Liron, Just found your piece on Trevor Chamberlain and loved your comments . He's is, perhaps, my favourite artist and I have one of his paintings, which is a constant source of pleasure. You may also want to have a look at the work of artist David Curtis who frequently paints with Trevor. I think they are the two of the greatest British artists around today. David

Liron, nice to here from you again, Trevor Chamberlain paints like the old school masters! I wonder where he learned that, or was it natural tallent! thank you for sharing!
@LironYan6 жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe the old masters were his teachers and main influence (: It's mostly natural affinity & a lot of hard work - so that's what I would assume in his case 😉

I wonder how many artists find that when they change mediums they inadvertantly change style!? Unless you're very focussed it's hard to convey the same thing in a different medium, and oil and watercolor are so different to work with! Thanks for the video, Liron 🙂

I am not sure if I know this artist or not :-) I liked a lot about these paintings. Some of the lower chroma areas, especially in the cityscapes, are still quite distinct from one another. Enough difference in value and hue I guess. Thanks!

Yes, he gets it just right to convey the nuance of light he is after. Very impressive. My pleasure 😊🙏🏼
