@@MathisNFL thanks for the love my friend. I've been supporting this team since the alive in 95 campaign, and just can't believe what I'm watching.I live in Vegas now and am completely embarrassed and in my eyes Trevor is the problem. Athletic yes, smooth talker yes, but he's proven that when they need points he can't produce even from first and goal to go. They can't even convert on third downs hardly ever 😭
@Mr.MustgohardАй бұрын
God No lol even his best year wasn’t nothing special. The year they won the division had the other teams had Davis mills, Matt Ryan, and hurt Tannehill. Now they have real QBs bro getting spanked.
@TrPeanut44Ай бұрын
I absolutely do. I think Trevor can turn this season around and he really needs a new OC. These first 4 games are really inexcusable like you said as he's missing by 5+ yards on deep shots which at Clemson was his bread and butter. We also can't blame the line as when we played houston he didn't see a lot of pressure compared to previous weeks. I've followed this player from when he was in HS and I still think he's got it in him to turn it around. Personally I think the Jags org. should've waited till next year to negotiate his contract extension. I want to see how he does under a new scheme that is actually tuned to his strengths. The Jags are in shambles but I'm gonna stay optimistic about Tlaw and BTJ

Trevor has the physical tools, but all his life he played with the best players. Now he’s in the nfl where the teams are pretty much even and opponents watch hours of game film, he’s been exposed. It’s his decision making people think they can fix. I don’t think Trevor is done and I think you can win with him, but 55 million for a guy who can’t carry a team is expensive. Just like Deshaun Watson this is a lesson to teams paying a guy off of potential.

There's two possible ways this goes. After this season The Jags get a new head coach and OC. (Praying for Bobby sloke) have a good draft and MIGHT contend for AFC south title with the Texans. OR Trevor doesn't do good this year and next year with a new coaching staff and then I think the Jags trade trevor and draft a young Qb (LIKE ARCH MANNING OR SOMEBODY ELSE THAT'S GOOD)

There is not one team that would trade for that contract with Trevor as the guy. He's untradeable.
@phillipsheppard5361Ай бұрын
The problem with scenario number 2 is even if the Jags were interested in trading TL his contract would remain in place. That would mean they’d either have to find a team stupid enough to pick the remainder of his contract (4 years $220,000,000), or buyout the remainder of his contract, which would still be held against them in the salary cap. Additionally, what would they realistically receive in that hypothetical trade? TL was the 1st overall pick in the 2021 draft, if the Jags are LUCKY they’d probably receive either a late 2nd round pick, or early 3rd round pick for him. Either way someone in the front office (the GM) is getting fired.

🐆fans need to face the bitter truth. The franchise needs a total rebuild starting with the GM, Coaching staff, roster (starting with the lines on both sides). The owner doesn't know who to hire or when to get rid of them. Trevor needs to stay here for the entire contract to ensure this rebuild succeeds. Hear me out, trevor is a disappointment, but we will secure high draft picks in the coming years. Hire new F.O. asap, fire sale, trade back but stay in top 10, rebuild both lines. Years 2 and 3 of his contract we will still suck. Continue to address the roster with high draft picks. Year 4 of his contract is the time to start looking to draft his replacement. Final year of his contract, we should have built a team that only needs a game manager, by now. He can give his replacement time to adjust to the NFL. I hope Shad sees this

The only thing they got going in Jax is they now have 0 expectations. He git his generational contract but is a mid to low tier QB. The guy somehow duped the Jags into a lottery type payout, based on what he did years ago (High school and College). Lets compare this tomTom Brady. Barely played in College at Mi, really had to work his way into ypthe starter. Was picked #199, by a team that just gave the bag to their starting QB, which same QB unfortunately got hurt but as they say "the rest us history". As a Jags fan, i have been supporting this gug making excuses for him but now i realize he just aint HIM. This dumb ass contract shoukd have waited until sometime during season or even at the end, they still would have the option year after this season. Unless he finds a way to do a 180, this situation is screwed because theyre stuck with him now for at least 4 years.

Needs to run more..he's got I think like 95 yrd total this yr...taking off with the ball is a must in the nfl now... now u take it when. It's there. He don't want to run he must of got snlt bubbled a couple times last year.. I Aldo agree with a comemt tht says he don't care enough. He don't have Phillip Rivers type of Competitiveness. I over Rated him myself.. UT I Like Drake Maye now but tht team is an abomination. Why are they playing him already. The bring him on with a losing deep losing record to start his career does .ore damage the Good...I didn't fully give up on Trevor yet. I loved Donald and thought I was wrong so. Maybe a Shanahan system or eve. THE colts, the no talent. I think Miami is to fast for him also. 3 step drop type. He needs full drop back. Amd why are slow qvs.playomg read offense when they never run.imo. that style is only hoful or better with a qb with wheels...I see Rodgers playing it and it drives me. Crazy. All u do is always play the back and ur always right for doing so. Ask Russell Wilson how he plays trying to stay in the pocket and.not run..u have to run to keep Defenders honest and it helps ur back find day light.. .Why are Slow ass QBs that don't run. Play the zone read..Why are u in a zone read on 3rd and goal from the 4...???whyyy..

Some points to consider: 1) After coaching the Eagles to a Super Bowl win, Pederson went straight downhill and was fired. He’s simply not a very good coach. 2) Trevor has in fact demonstrated that he can play well, as in the 2022 season. 3) Don’t forget that it took John Elway quite a long time to develop into the HOF QB he became. Let’s not be too quick to condemn Trevor to the trash heap of NFL history. Cut the guy some slack and stop sadistically reveling in his current problems.

@toddsonnier3763 no but the coaches are the ones to run the ball for 60 yards to the 2 yeard line, leave the same back in and run the same draw play twice in a row. Run a third draw play (different running back) and then turn the ball over on downs on a qb sneak. We got to the 2 yard line and didn't score a point. Trevor played terrible but I definitely think coaches are to blame.
