It drives me nuts that the discourse regarding our 2023 season has been "The Jags missed the playoffs because Trevor Lawrence is a PHONY!" and not "the Jaguars were in the running for number 1 seed in the AFC before suffering significant injuries at NEARLY EVERY OFFENSIVE POSITION, QB INCLUDED." It frustrates me deeply to see people like Chris Broussard dismiss all the injuries Trevor suffered last season with a "oh what, so he was the only quarterback playing hurt last season 👁👄👁" or "well if he was so very injured, why was he on the field at all? If you're healthy enough to play, you're supposed to play like you're 100%!"

His first year he played with the worst head coach in nfl history, then his second year he made the playoffs with no real wr 1 and a trash o-line, then his third year he finally plays great and the gets injured and plays on multiple injures at once. no qb can play well in that situation. He has had to play with multiple different play callers. I'm not saying he is the best qb in the nfl but give him some respect.
