Comedy can often be more impactful than stone-faced drama when it discusses serious subjects because of the sincerity it has. This song somehow being sadder and pounding home the real weight of how toxic social media has made us better than any award-bait PSA could is a great demonstration of that

This made me tear up not only from laughter, but also because it's so poignant, and depressingly accurate. Not sure that I've ever laughed while simultaneously becoming kinda' depressed until watching this. Trevor's songs always tend to be either about getting high, or or deeply delving into biting political and social issues. At both ends of this spectrum, he's a f**ing genius.

i first found it funny but as the song went on i just became really sad that this truly displays how some people decide to present themselves on the internet.... i don't see how crushing other people's dreams can be fun to anyone i just don't get why some people feel the need to do that... to feel good about themselves because they put down someone who actually tried to achieve something? how can hating on someone ambitious you don't know at all make anyone feel good? it's a mystery to me o_o
