Brand Manager, is your journey in this life. If you don’t want to have children, don’t do it just because is expected by others. There are many ways you can help children in this world. There are soooo many out there needing guidance and love right now. Is such important decision to let others influence us to do it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

The irony of course is that it's precisely those people who would most likely make great parents, and actually raise a child to be a kind decent person, who are in doubt about ever having children. Whilst plenty of people who should never reproduce do so, repeatedly.

River_Rose13 Well he might but I think for Trevor. He sees how awful the world is everyday. It's his job to give commentary on it. But who knows he might find someone he wants children with. If he's aware of bratty kids - he'll try hard to raise his children not to be like that.

I know nobody asked for my opinion, but I'll give it anyway... If I had a DAILY show, a family 18 hours away, books to write and the absurd amount of books to read (because he is very well informed on every guest he receives and their work AND their books!), I would think twice before having children too. There is no space NOW in his plans. Men don't have to worry about waiting too long. I, myself, lost my chance - but every time I imagine a child in my life, as it is now, I thank God that never happened. I'll write other books and plant other trees.

He can, has, and does pass those lessons, through comedy, through people, through interviews. You dont have to have kids to teach people. @@Nazaba09 how? You would only get that assumption by being a non-thinker. Unlike us, you dont have a philosophical way of thinking, you dont really put much thought into thinking. You dont question things or think with purpose. I agree with Trevor, I dont think about having kids, and when it does come up, I do question why. If I have kids, I would have them with purpose. Having kids is not going to make you less lonely or feel more whole. A lot of people have kids thinking it’s going to make their lives happier or more purposeful and that isnt the case at all. I am a kindergarten teacher (or rather: crèche) and I tutor two primary school kids and I totally love it, but I still don’t want children of my own, which everyone seems to think is a paradox. The world we live in is horrible on too many levels to want to enforce it onto another person. Also, kids are no pets that you get, because they are cute. I mean, they are cute (among other things), but I really don’t want to force anyone to live in this world. I rather spend my time making the lives of kids better, that are already in this world, than adding to overpopulation which is not so slowly killing our living conditions (though not the planet, I believe). Furthermore, I have read just too much about births and the after-effects for women ... no, thank you, I‘d rather continue living! When people tell me I‘ll be lonely in old age, I tell them that my parents are lonely and they have kids. Kids do not exist to fulfill their parents wishes. They are no pets. In short: I love kids. And that is exactly why I don’t want any!

i really believe people should stop having that retort to someone saying they do not want to have kids. . "you'll change your mind." it's such an arrogant thing to say. Do not presume to know how someone would feel based on your own feelings about that issue. We are all different and we do not all feel the same things and experience the same in life. When i tell people i do not think I am going to want kids they tell me i'm going to regret not having kids. and i honestly say to myself....ahh you are right, so with that logic lets just bring a kid into this world even though I am not ready, or financially stable, and oh wait i don't want the child. That's smart. I really feel that I would much rather regret not having a child than regret having one and not taking care of them the way a parent should.

"When are you having kids?" "You have to want a little bit of that (having a kid of your own)" "You'll change your mind" Please don't be like her. Some people just don't want kids, and their minds won't change, and they might have other things they want more, or are just ok with not having kids.
