The world is better because he's making music in it.

trey is great! him, patton and trevor dunn all seem like very intelligent people, driven by so deep creative pulses... mr bungle was amazing! and each one of those 3 guys kept creating good, challenging music =)

I dont know too many bands that have THREE massively talented musicians... many have one or two... im thinking Weather Report with Zawinul, Shorter as well as Jaco.. But yeah Bungle is probably my favorite band of all time, (or at least my favorite band of primarily traditional instrumentation) of those 3 Trey has been the most important in terms of me LOVING and being in awe of what he continues to do but there's also something magical that I think can only happen when those 3 finally come back together to make new music ... one of which i realized for me is Dunn's penchant for free Jazz which you dont often get from SC3

Life would be a lot duller without this mans music, SC3 gives me life

What a staggering amount of music knowledge Trey has. Sheer brilliance. Those Bungle boys are a huge resource of anything that has ever been put to record. I love hearing any of them talk about their listening libraries. Soooo much interesting music. It makes me salivate.

Trey Spruance has always been my favorite member of Mr. Bungle... He seems like such a great person, yet when I saw Mr.Bungle in Montreal just after the release of California, he was just terrifying on stage, like a force of nature ! To this day that was the greatest show I've ever seen !!!

He's a super nice guy. I saw the Secret Chiefs 3 open for Les Claypool in 09 and Trey was peddling their merchandise after they played. He was very gracious and very humble and Jesus Christ is he smart

Anybody see Les Claypool when looking at Trey? I think they look alike. I wanna see those two work together, with special guest Mike Patton. You think you know a lot about music....then you hear Trey Spruance talk. WOW.
@11anonymous63 жыл бұрын
I think Les’ & Trey’s respective styles would wind up creating a schism of sound. Not to imply it would sound bad, I just think it would sound at odds with itself. The only visual similarity between the two is their facial hair. Trey has rosier cheeks 😂
