What they sounded like out front we'll never know, but back here they sound like shit. Any number of reason why that is, the mike could be crud, or maybe they really did sound shit...who knows.

Trey Stine Actually IA's drummer recorded the entire album little by little on his e-kit. and Matt, Kollias can play well over 300 Both drummers (probably Trey too) can play faster than they do in their songs. The speed limit doesn't matter, what matters is how well they can incorporate it into the music.

Myfavoritealbums666 I'm using that exact head on my pearl vision birch and the sound is almost identical. No chance of any ugly undertones either and if you like it, it will probably last you a lifetime. Really no chance of it breaking as long as your just playing on it. I personally only use it for metal though. I find that ghost notes sort of disappear a bit but I'm sure you could make it work.

Putridity and Infant Annihilator has faster double bass than Nile...but...it doesn't matter. I greatly prefer Nile than either of those bands, it's not just 280 bpm blasting for minutes.
