Eve, you don't have to glue that half moon piece on the envope...just distress the envelope underneath. Problem solved. Really like this folio

When I assembled my journal, I kept the flap on the back envelope. Prior to decorating the front page, I brought that back flap around & glued to the front envelope to cover the spine. It held nicely.

Great way to recycle unused envelopes. I use 5 envelopes to make my prayer & scripture journals as well as a good number of your other ideas. I even use half envelopes for loose pockets. I'll try put photos on your Facebook. Thank you for your many beautiful ideas.

I love this little tri-fold. It is amazing what one can do with simple envelopes. What is the paper you used with the little girl and boy you put in the window. I noticed there was also a little girl and a snowman laying on the table next to you. Are these from the same paper. I would love to have those. Maybe you can direct me to it. To get the half moon shape the same...turn the paper over and mark the back then flip it over..exactly the same

I did something similar And I made A photo album out of the Photo envelopes. I posted it over on the Scrapbooking with me page so you could go over and look at the ones I did and you know what I am talking about the envelope that they put the photos in. I made mine this summer for his other grandparents and his mom for Christmas and I put a picture for pretty much each month but there's pockets so there are tags inside with pictures in little sayings

Faux stitching with a ink pen or you don’t have to stitch at all just glue.

Then you can put is faux stitches if you want them or no stitches at all and just glue well. It doesn’t have to be stitched at all the glue will hold.
