@ just done my second trial in novice championship round I came 21 out of 26 and i cleaned some rock sections onwards and upwards might even do one of stus trials days

You are more optimistic about world trials than I am. Trial GP offers points down to 15th place, yet can't attract 15 riders into the class. This is most likely a mixture of both the financial commitment and riding level required. Maybe a topic for a future pod is "What would trials look like without a world championship?" Manufacturer's costs would be reduced and they might develop bikes for people that buy & ride them, rather than 300cc rocketships that are Trial GP ready, but too much for the vast majority of customers. I'll leave that one with you, to consider for a future episode.

Wow, that was a depressing read. You are also wildly off the mark in regards to the power of the bikes that are for sale for public consumption. If you had rode a world championship level bike (as I have). You would know that the consumer bikes are wildly underpowered. Having such a negative outlook to the future of the sport is damaging. Cheer up man!

@@TrialTube I do hope I am wrong, but look at how many talented young riders are unable to continue in the sport at world level, such as Jack Price who you discussed. Also, what did Harry Turner's dad tell you about the power of the 300 Sherco?

He said it was the closet thing to Wold Championship power “out the box”. (Still not powerful enough). I honestly don’t believe a lot of the young riders today network well enough to keep themselves in the game. To remain professional (from a riding perspective) you must think outside the box when looking for sponsorship. They are all too quick to give up.
