Great video! Really looking forward to trying this one on the mat tonight. The mounted triangle is by far my favorite and most successful submission, so this will add an excellent new way to get there. Thanks!

I'm having the opposite problem of I keep getting stacked once I lock my feet up and I end up trying to roll them over my head but it creates a scramble and they get out a lot of the time. Just started at a Gracie school today, first class and happened 3 times in a row. I'm a judo player by background
@xaviergovindan99664 жыл бұрын
You probably figured this out by now, but when they stacked you they usually let you underhook their leg, giving you an ANGLE to scissor your legs for the triangle finish.

I've known this move for awhile and have had some awesome success with it (Thanks T-City). One issue I have come across is an uncontrolled landing from the sweep. Due to the guy freaking out or resisting the move, I often land on my knee of the choking leg, which gives you that nice stinging pain on your knee cap. Is there anyway to avoid this, or is this a risk of the move as you said? Thanks, Chris Gracie Academy CTC, Jacksonville Fl.

From the demonstration it follows that you should post that side´s hand. You could also lean your body a little to the other side. I guess the first one is better so most times you won´t be tilted. Have you found a solution in this 3 years?
