@@TommySkywalker11 cant remember tbh but ik ive had some maps where 0 drop, some with 1, some with 2. The ones with 2 dropping r probably all double boss maps like Silvio Rufus n stuff but I still assumed that it wasnt guaranteed

Super useful video. Thanks for the work you put into this. I’m kind of surprised how relatively dismissive you were toward Rudolph. Staggering Arrow was a huge draw for me, so much that I promoted him to Elite with one of my first Medals of Valor. Being able to knock a unit into another unit and deal collision damage, or even better, knock another archer off a rooftop to deal fall damage and take away their terrain advantage is something I absolutely coveted.

I thought Rudolph had really great promotion skills for both times, Slumber Shot then Staggering Arrow. He, Corentin, and Erador are definitely the Recruits with amazing promotion skills that should be prioritized for promotion medals every time if you use them tbh

Love the content! Just wanna say that even if a character has lackluster skills or passives from their class promotions, sometimes the extra TP is more than enough justification for an upgrade (Mages and Utility Support characters come to mind). That will make them use their more useful skills more often when banking TPs. Ezana can’t even use here weapon skill until she’s an Elite with 5TP capacity. As for other video ideas, seeing as you only get 1 of each unique accessory, maybe just go over which ones are best in class for each character? I know you glossed over this on you accessories video, but something more explicit would be appreciated. Kudos!

Hughette gets Shadowstitching in her Recruit tier actually. She was the last Recruit I promoted to Vet because all her good skills came at the start already.

@@LC356 The first 4 skills of each unit are from Recruit. Next 2 are from Vet, and the last skill is from Elite. In Piccoletta's case the first 5 skills she gets from Vet and the last skill is from Elite.

Im on my first playthrough and I think Im on chapter XIII part 2. For some reason I have my entire party as a veteran. I promoted Geela just last night. I even had the resources to promote Serenoa and Benedict to Elite. Im starting to think they pathed the game very well to space out the use of resources found in game. I find pouring into these two is key because they are the main leaders in-game no matter which paths you take. But also having a master tactician and swordsman is reassuring lol.

I think that Benedict and Erador have a strong case for being earlier promotions. When you get your first 1-2 medals you’re going to be level 12 at highest and most mid or late teen abilities won’t be available. Heck you might be a couple levels from even using the level 13 abilities. Erador gets a huge buff at 13 though with his counter but I think it’s Benedict that gets the biggest bonus at 10 with promotion. The 2 extra TP he gets (one from skill one from promotion) means he can get Now! off twice in the first 3 turns. Before he would cast Now! once and be done. Now! is such a powerful skill that I think being able to basically cast it twice at start of battles is worth the promotion just on its own.

Getting Julio at Weapon Rank 2 to get Moment of Truth TP -1 should be your must have upgrade. Being able to battery every turn is just straight up broken!

Not for Boss Characters in Story Mode, you’ll auto-acquire their drops. For standard enemies or Mock Battles it will increase spoil odds when equipped

For just the rookie units promoting into veteran, what order would you recommend for them? From 1 being should promote asap to 10+ being least priority. I'm able to promote some and want to make sure it doesn't go to waste. Thanks.

Serenoa - Frederica - Corentin - Benedict - Erador - Hughette is who I'd prioritize first. Order them based off who you utilize the most and your playstyle

@@LC356 the problem is I use all of those units. I've already promoted Seronoa and Benedict, atm I can promote either Frederica, Geela, Anna, Hughette, Erador and Corentin to Veteran. Other than Geela getting the ability to heal status condition or a better but more costly single targeting heal, Erador getting to counter when physically attacked (works good with his provoke skill), or Corentin's Shield of Ice which is a much costlier version of Frederica's Fire Shield but the added benefit of nullifying a single attack, none of the other promotable units appeals to me. And of just these 3, not sure who should be promoted next. Only have 1 medal atm, currently on the end of chapter 8.

Mock battles drop medals? I have never seen one, keep in mind im on my first playthrough but all my characters are always 1lvl ahead of recommended story lvl. Which means, I grind ALOT of mock battles.

For Mages only - Magic Up effects their magical power for spells. Weapon Power up is almost useless as you should never be attacking with them anyway.

Calling medina’s early stuff broken when she has to pay tp to do what Anna does innately and even when you do pay that tp she’s not necessarily better at abusing items then Anna since she can heal your tanks while not being a valid target because of being invisible and being able to attack and use an item with act twice as opposed to having to use two items is an interesting take. Never really found myself starved for tp but I was doing some cheesy stuff with archibald and lightwave a lot. Tp generation just was never valuable to the characters I frequently used most the time enough to warrant a slot for it and that’s the only real thing Medina has going for her and she may not even have that on join so not really what id consider her early stuff. And yes I was doing hardmode if curious
