You forgot the personal income requirement of $80,000 to qualify for the world elite, which will leave some people out of luck. Granted the only perk you miss out on is the free roadside assistance. Also the cashback is in canadian tire money, to be used at the canadian tire partners you listed. It’s not actual cash.

That's true, the 80k minimum income will leave people out. That being said, even if it's only Canadian Tire money, getting any sort of rewards when you pay property tax and utilities is always a win.

Its very simple! Once you get the card, just go online and register for the triangle financial online account. Works just like every other bank! That account is linked to your credit card. Essentially anything you pay using that account is counted as if you used your triangle mastercard to pay, netting you 1% triangle rewards. Pretty good deal.

I don't think the black WE is new. It's been out for a while. If you have the income and credit, might as well upgrade. Higher credit limit means lower utilization

The question is do they count YTD income or look at your past years income. I noticed that they even ask for 5 years past income and ask for all type of documents !! not easy to get

@@lispmanfinance wow! So are so lucky! I do lot of research on this credit card and all of peoples for approved they ask tons of paper work ! By any chance you been with First Tech credit union for a while before you apply for World elite Master card and how much you got approved for ?

Nope! Never been with First Tech Credit Union. I got approved for 10k I think. They kept asking me if I wanted to increase limit but I never did.

I’m pretty sure most of these cards have a higher income requirement and I am no way close to a higher income. I’m actually in the lower income category.

You can still get the regular triangle mastercard. Will offers 1% rewards for all taxes/utility bills
