Workout purpose then ST 100 for short rides is good. Long rides more than 100 kms on good rood then rc 100. Long ride on road and off road then go for riverside model. Rc 100 is just an entry level road bike

If you preferred for road bike then better go for drop bar or else hybrid is the better one. Co-riders using different types of chain rings. I think group set is the key. It's my personal view only

There are good MTBs in Cosmic, Montra and Firefox brands. I'm not able to say which one is best because everyone has pros and cons. If possible go to shop which has multiple brands and check plz. Personally I used Rockroder st 100 which was good to me but Rs.18000
