You know…it’s kinda a great time to be a new army. You have time to actually catch up on everything! When I became a new army in Nov 2017, it was just when BTS was blowing up in America. There was like ten new things happening every day so it took me years to catch up on old content. I cried a lot the first time I listen to this song and I watch the MV. Just seeing all the moments of the guys together since 2013 and so many moments I've live with BTS for almost 8 years as an armys is so.. 😭 I just miss them so freaking much and and so proud of them and THE LYRICS??? That's the sweetest sht 😭 I know Jimin said it was a fan song but you can tell it was also dedicated to Bangtan in some way. It's so beautiful! 💜 I can't wait for Seokjin to comeback and then Hobi next year and of course I can't wait to 2025 when they finally get all 7 together 🥺 Anyways, Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone! 💖 I hope we get happy moments and stay health in 2024. 😍🐥That was producer Pdogg’s house shown, where Jimin also wrote most of the lyrics, composed melodies, & helped produce all his songs, worked alongside Pdogg, (legendary in-house BigHit genius producer, along with a couple of other producers, GHSTLOOP & Evan for his whole FACE album! Ft songs “Face Off”, “Like Crazy”, Alone”, (hidden track only in physical album specifically for army), “Letter”, & “Set Me Free Pt.2”. Jimin worked close to Pdogg, who he’s become quite close with already when creating Jimin’s earlier hit song “Friends” that he ft, V on, (“Friends” was in Marvel the Eternals film), that Jimin also wrote , composed, as well as helped produce previously, along with other songs in the past. Jimin worked so hard, non stop, while creating his FACE album that he pretty much stayed over Pdogg’s house, all of the 10 months it took to create the album, as shown in Jimin’s FACE production Diary documentary! Plus, as shown here, Jimin apparently worked on other songs with his production crew team. This time for “Closer than This” Jimin even had legendary Ayo the Producer, as well, working on it, who even posted, “we’re far from finished”! It looks like there might be more songs eventually being released as well, but this song was a special gift to army from Jimin knowing how much army would be missing the members now all gone to the military. All these photos, & clips shown are all the times & memories Jimin & rest of BTS shared with army who helped them with all their non stop support throughout the yrs, including helping them receive many of their awards! RM has even mentioned several times in his speeches, as well as ea and every member that there would be no BTS without army and all their love & support! 🙏❤‍🔥🥹😢🥰🐥😇 ❣Side Note: It was Yeon Eum Boys and Girls Choir who gave enchanting harmony along with Jimin, truly captivating, especially in the latter part of the song. Jimin's charming vocals blend seamlessly with the pure vocals of the Yeon Eum Boys and Girls Choir, resulting in a beautiful and memorable performance.
