I absolutely adore Minnick and Simpson. 🥰 They were the only Patriotic fabric lines that I would purchase. I never buy blue fabrics as that is my least favorite color. However something about their color palette allowed me to overcome that feeling. I am going to miss them. I wish their retirement to be relaxing and peaceful.❤

I just got my Michigan Beauty quilt kit in the mail this weekend, and I can not wait to get started on it! I'm not usually one for patriotic quilts, but Minick and Simpson make beautiful fabric collections, and I wanted to participate in their final collection. I think the Michigan Beauty block and pattern are so fitting for the Grand Haven line, and it is a stunner of a quilt. I'm so glad I went ahead and snagged it. Even though I probably have about 7 or 8 other quilt kits waiting for me 😅

Oh my gosh! That is so gorgeous!! Minnick & Simpson just has a way with this color pallet. What a perfect quilt for their last line. I finished a queen sized quilt with their Mackinaw line for my bed and I just love it. Going to miss them terribly. Thank you Kimberly for the lovely tutorial and pattern.

I can’t quite put my finger on why, but the center of these blocks seems like it should be more. Or just have the center square be the same as the center corner color. Idk… Very beautiful though!!
